As you can see, Tempie is MIGHTY happy. I feel like I let you down with a lack of videos and photos during the birth but we did the best we can with the decision I made. I firmly believe that it is best to make a decision that is proactive vs playing recovery or worse.
Here is today's gallery.
The mom and the pups are precious cargo and they deserve the best.
Dennis said although staying awake after 3 hours sleep, he said other than washing her bottom (usual after birth) that it was easy. I am glad to hear as today he will be sleeping and I will have a phone outside taking videos of Hallie crew and an ipad watching the Tempie pups. We will be juggling and tomorrow we have an 8 week visit - well 9 week as they go home in a week so Dennis will have sleep for 2.5 hours and then head to sleep again after the visit is over.
We will be doing takeout as Nathan being so concerned about impending pups did not do a food order. I guess I need to learn the Skip the Dishes and whatever else is available. Have to laugh.
Here are the videos.
I am starting to write down defining features but got a ways to go.
1st born gal beige legs and 2 back white feet. She gained 3/8oz 13g since approx 530pm
Usually pups lose the 1st 2 days.
2nd born boy with thin white chest gained 4/8oz 11g
3rd born gal who is a dark apricot sable gained 3/8oz 9g
4th born significant white blaze on chest boy gained 2/8oz 6g
5th born girl largest - have to do markings on her gained 2/8oz 7g
As you can see all gained. Looks like tris except the apricot. I will have to see if brown or black but we will look at it again in a few days.
They are very lively. They are eating well and mom has milk. I am impressed. Tempie - you are wonderful!
