What is Nathan's concern? If we put them together will you know who goes where? LOL

Friday, March 24, 2023 at 5:54PM Darlah The Willow pups are so fun. They climb under the mats and sleep and are excited to see you. Laying in their pen is such a delight. If I am in the Hallie pen playing with those pups, they put their face throughg the bars staring as if to say - did you forget about us? The moms want your attention 1st. The pups want your attention first. It is so funny. Everyone competes for your attention. Wait till they are all together. It's going to be a riot.
Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 6:11PM Darlah Dennis put a bowl into Willow's pen as she was feeding. One of her pups left her and moseyed over to the bowl and licked the bowl. What a riot. Didn't eat but sure did a mighty fine job of licking the bowl.
These pups do play but I keep catching them sleeping or eating. It's simply the timing. I think I caught the play on a video or two. My minds exhausted but seeing I am not grooming tomorrow, I will do a better job.
They are walking over to the pad more and more.

The pups are truly enjoying snuggles when I lay in their xpen. I call it a slice of doggy heaven. A couple of this crew are using the pad. Not all but this is exceedingly young for that.
They play. They sleep amd they do sleep a significant amount of time at this stage. As they get older, they extend their awake time but still even when they go home to you, they are sleeping a great deal. They sleep to gain - to grow etc.
When they wake up they have to go, eat and play. It is via play that they learn the most. This continues with you. Training should always be fun and rewarding.
The pups are doing really well. There have been no issues with any in any of the litters.
Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 4:56PM Darlah Out of the 3 litters, this crew is the quitest so far. That can change and it often does. For now they play, eat, sleep and are low key. I never hear voices calling for their mom. Perhaps they are simply satisfied.

Monday, March 20, 2023 at 7:19PM Darlah I figured if Hallie's crew was going to be just in the xpen, Willows would too. This way they can look at each other and be exposed to all the sights when being outside of the whelping box.
It has been a long day so I am extra late.
The pups had no adjustment. They looked around. They ate and are now sleeping. I call this a success.

This is the start of exposures and they change so much as they hear, see and well just have new experiences!
Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 2:59PM Darlah The pups are 2.5 weeks old. They are getting mighty plump and really enjoy their cuddling sleep. By the time they are 4 weeks, the pups will be running around and by 5 weeks at the latest they will all be together. Can you imagine that? At 6 weeks they will have their first family visit.
The pups most likely will be swimming as it will be warm enough. Lucky them and us!

Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 7:11PM Darlah Pups had their nails done. I did get a video of it even though I knocked the tripod over midstream but I kept recording. I will be uploading the videos shortly.
I did manage to catch Hallie and Willow's pups getting active at the same time so went back and forth and took videos of each.

Friday, March 17, 2023 at 6:14PM Darlah I kept missing the play with the Willow pups due to my timing with grooming but finally I got a video of it. Videos will be up shortly.
Willow pups like to sleep. They seem to play longer and sleep longer, if that makes sense. It is early for play but they are exhibiting it and it is fun to watch, when I catch it.
