Temps

Willow's temps are still in 100s - lowest but 100s. I am hoping for daytime delivery for her too. Is it too much to wish for? All nighters are difficult. It takes this old body time to recover. Both moms to be was saddled up against me not leaving my side all night. I am a fitfull sleeper so I need room but they had something else in mind. At least they are not like Sage who walks all night when in labour so you hve to get up and keep checking vs checking next to you.

Temps Taken

This is her first temperature. We will continue to take it to understand if it is rising, lowering or staying the same. It has to drop to low 98s to start stage 1 labour but you can miss it if you do not take the temps on time. Willows is at 99.2. We will take it again tonight.

Here is the gallery before the vets today.

Our local vet says 5. I am waiting for my reproduction vet and her numbers and when due. Xray will be added to this blog when it arrives. 

Our reproduction vet says 5 too. All girls are ready to go any day but most likely Sunday till Wednesday. She figures Hallie 1st and Willow and Nami same day or close. We are setting up pens now and organizing. It is Dennis day off tomorrow so that means today is way busy.

Abby's New Family

Abby's new family gallery plus Meadow

Well they had to make a 6 hour trek today. I so hope they fared well. It's a long drive. They should be arriving now, I imagine.

We took the rest out after their departure as we didn't want them all trying to herd Meadow. 

Look forward to hearing how the drive went. Last 2 depart tomorrow.

Abby's Last Bath: 2 Blogs Today

Here is the bath gallery.

Abby is departing tomorrow. She is the last of the Willow pups to depart. She will be joining her canine family member, Meadow. 

Tomorrow she will be taking the long drive to Montreal. Yes, another that moved during the waiting. LOL What can I say.

Shortly, I will be washing Meadow and then seeing if she is up to a one on one session with each other. 

Tomorrow we will be down to the last 2 and 1 visitor. Saturday - only the one visitor from Tempie.

Saturday night the xpen will comew down and we get this room back to having room till next time.

Monday Dennis will have his day off and Tuesday I will have mine and Wednesday Nathan will have his. It's the first time in 12 weeks we will have a day off. Imagine that.

How was she is the bath? She was ridiculous. How say do you mean? She just took the bath in stride. Laid and allowed me to dry her without holding. She was so easy.

Jimmy has now departed and will be missed. As the numbers go down, we feel the quiet coming on. 

As it was raining, we did the transfer and play in the kitchen.

How was Jimmy in the bath - beyond wonderful - bath, blow dry but boy do I need to teach Nathan to put his hand down lower as it looks like he is strangling the poor pup but he isn't. LOL

I can't believe he departs tomorrow. Then tomorrow it is Abby's bath photos, I believe? 

Jimmy is named after Jimmy McGill after Better Call Saul.
