Hugo, Milo & Oscar at Talemaker Havanese

We were down to just Hugo and Milo till Oscar came tonight. Just a couple of photos of Oscar as he came late but there will be more tomorrow.

It's going to be fun getting to know Oscar.

We had a fun filled day and Nathan and our son is out with puppies and dawgs tonight playing retrieve as I type.

They are really enjoying the weather warming up and so are we. I got all the dawgs brushed today. Oscar will wait till the morning as I don't ever brush them the 1st day unless they are regulars so they don't get overwhelmed. Tomorrow he will get his daily grooming like the rest of the crew. Tonight he will get extra snuggles and a slow immersion so he gets his comfort level.

We do this with each dog that is new and it works. We make sure they bond by cultivating relationships one on one and once bonded to one, the rest all comes together. We take this dawg business serious and want them to have as much fun as we do having them here.

Check out today's photos. We had so much fun playing that I hardly snapped - sorry! I promise to do better.

PS: the almost black puppy of Wasabi's is out playing with Hugo full tilt. Hugo is throwing a toy in the air and the puppy is trying to get Hugo and they toy. Oscar is at the stage of - are the puppies gremlins? They all react that way at first. Then they realize they are just miniature dogs.

Here's a photo of Oscar taken tonight hanging out with Nathan.
