Treasure's Baby Sophie's Bath

Today was a big day.....Sophie had her first bath (1st bath from me (Karen), that is) and she needed it. All in all, she did very well. The tether was a life saver. We still had a small amount of "flooding" with her multiple attempts to get out of the sink, but I was prepared with the beach towels. The blow dryer was a breeze. All that excitement and activity really tired her out.

Right now she's on the couch, curled up in a baby blanket, asleep at my feet. Life is good.

Supplies gathered and ready to go.........

Before my bath.....not too sure what she's getting ready to do??

OK, this isn't so bad..........SO FAR!!

OMG....get me OUTTA HERE!!!! Has anyone seen Sophie??

Oh, here she is....getting dry!

Aren't I just the cutest? Momma's already cleaned up the flood ;-)

Oh so fluffy and soft.............

Sophie.....15 weeks old today

Chillaxin with my caterpillar.....

Cute and cuddly as a teddy bear..........

Thank you Karen for sharing a big moment. 15 weeks already - wow!! It goes by way too fast.

Hi Karen,
Sophie is so cute. She looks so content. Glad to hear the bath went well. Her coat is so much shorter than Ty's. Has she had a trim or is Ty just a wild guy! How much does she weigh now. Ty has grown a ton. Each day he seems heavier but he does love his food! Thanks so much for sharing the pictures.

How sweet is that...way to go guys....Penny has a deeper laundry sink so she can't get away so quick.....She too likes the dryer...too funny... I have to get myself one of those bathing tethers... as husbands are not so reliable ( work and all) ....eheheh just kidding....

Hi Julie,

Sophie is great and no she has not had a trim. That's her natural coat length. It's funny because I think it's getting so long! She actually has a vet appointment this afternoon so I'll let you know what she weighs. We were supposed to go on Friday but the appointment got rescheduled. 3 1/2 weeks ago she was 4lbs but I suspect she's 5 now.

Glad to hear Ty is doing well. You all must be having so much fun with him. I would love to see pictures.

Take care.

Tethers are worth the investment even just for ease and peace of mind. My adults I no longer use them but I have them trained and heavily conditioned. :-)

Give Ty hugs from us - will you? Long hair - each grows different. Does your sibling have your hair? Some do, some don't. Spice's brother Baxter has the thickest hair you ever did see. I need that volume for the show ring. But eventually the undercoat will come in and she will appear thicker and longer.

Fiona when we were showing her at 6 months they almost laughed - where's her hair and then suddenly within a 3 month period her undercoat came in and she started winning big. Everyone went - oh my the gal has hair. She did and it felt like I waited forever for it and then it was there. Thing with me, I can relate to the Fiona hair but mine never did thicken up. hahahaha

Hello Karen, I loved your bath pictures. Sophie still looks like a tiny little creamy
colored bear.
Kona is scheduled for his third set of shots today. The vet will weigh him more
accurately than I can at home. I will let you know his weight later today.
