Last Night's Surprise

Spice is in heat - 1st time going on 16 months old. It's going to be a long 3 weeks. Spice is not happy getting segragated with the gals.

Me, I am yawning and need to get motivated to exercise but all I want to do is climb back into bed. It's one of THOSE days.

Hello Darlah & Nathan,
Do you plan to breed Spicey in her first heat ?
I still think of her as a young pup..

Kathy: Not a chance. She's way too young. She is a puppy and we just have to deal with this 3 weeks of craziness as she hates being segregated. She is a free will type of dog wanting to play, play and play more. We did have Ty here and he didn't react in the least. So they were able to play. Some males even when fixed do seem to be overly fixated when a gal is in heat but he was not. They smell something different and seem to want to be with them 24/7 but don't know why. Spice will just have to put up with playing with only the gals. We won't take chances so she will be with the gals only. Truffie also is not at the point where he knows what is going on but he is also not allowed with her. Truff and Spice are best of pals too. It's only 3 weeks or so I keep telling myself that.

Hi Darlah and Nathan,

Thanks again for having Ty this weekend. I know he had a great time and is now sleeping at my feet while I type this message.

Take care,

Julie
