Argh & Tips

I believe it is truly fall weather that we are getting vs. winter. Nathan washed the floor (Usually Dennis does) and 2 minutes later there were leaves all over. This is a Fall moment, I swear.

Can I blast the leaves away, cement my backyard and make the dogs come through a wind tunnel so they come in clean? Not likely but one can dream up all sorts of things.

Do you know who;e greenies really are great for the teeth but not for the hair? We keep them away from show dogs as they truly ruin their beards and so do regular marrow bones which actually turn their beard that wonderful brownish colour.

But what we do is we cut greenies in little pieces and let them chew on them. It cleans their teeth and no beard stickage. They also last longer as you will give one piece of a mini greenie vs. a whole. We actually cut a mini into 3 pieces. A little goes a long way.

Darlah, do you worry about choking on small chunks of greenies? What size do you buy and cut up? Maybe we'll try that. We stopped using greenies after Mac's beard turned green the first few times.

LOL sometimes what goes in green comes out a little green too. I remember my little nephew's horror one day when he saw that.. poor boy thought that something was horribly wrong with my dog. Maybe I'll try the cutting up method too.

Moxie has a slight brown tinge to his hair around his mouth. I thought it may be the Fromms. I had no idea that marrow would be the cause. Moxie has beautiful white teeth and loves Elks antlers and beef bone marrow. Thanks for the FYI.
