Visiting & Baths

Maxine came over for a bath and running play just for a couple of hours. She has such wonderful hair.

I washed her and although I put a bathing tether on her it was really unnecessary.

I suggest a bathing tether for anyone bathing a dog. It's just easier and doesn't bother them and keeps them safe. I like to bathe in my laundryroom sink.

She just took it all in stride. I am impressed.

I then cleaned up her pads and again not a peep.

For the first time I saw Truffie too exuberant. He just chased and chased her. She has wonderful speed and it was all in fun but usually Truffie is not so focused on visitors.

I think he really liked her.

As I still have the flu I stayed away but enjoyed from afar.

I figure by weeks end it will be gone.

Nathan keeps threatening that he is sick but its not grabbing him like me. I suspect that's due to the reality that I do so much that my immune system was probably not at its best. Dennis is not getting as sick as I was and neither is Nathan. I am glad. It isn't a fun flu. I also am careful in making sure I don't pass it on to anyone else.

Maxine looks beautiful. I think I'm going to start letting my girls front hair grow long so I can pull it back. Looks so nice. Hope you continue to feel better.

I like the hair up and back. It looks nice, imho. I lift the paws, I cleaned them out, I combed her, I bathed her - did they drug her before she came? Nah, she was running all over the place ahead of time but wow she was a good girl. I am not bathing anyone else today. Tomorrow is a new day. I brushed everyone and feel tired. Tomorrow maybe I will wash 4. We shall see.

I agree Gerda - Maxine's hair is adorable and I love the tiny clip holding it back.

Darlah - Is Maxine from Fiona? And last but not least, glad you're feeling better. Want to see you well by next Sat!!! :-)

Luv this website as there is so much info to be found! Been on here a tad too long lately, according to the other half. :-) And, amongst my searches found that this little gal Maxine just may belong to Treasure . . . unless there's another Maxine out there. She is just adorable!!! And thanks again to you and Nathan for all the wealth of education to be found regarding any and all concerns. I have a list going on in prep for this new little one coming home.

My heart stopped when I saw Maxine. Her colouring is so much like Kona's.
(A Treasure & Katsura pup.) Glad to see Truffie having so much fun with her.

Deb: Correct...

I think Maxine looks like her Mommy. There is something distinctive about Treasure's nose and eyes and Maxine has them - in my opinion. A real cutie!

Treasure has drop dead gorgeous eyes, imho. Her pups seem to have them for the most part.
