Interesting Day

No power. Got a lot of work done. Forgot I couldn't dry a dog after washing his underneath. No I m on Nathan ipad she has my stick for cellular service. He nagging me to use it and enough... Hahaha

Doing blogs on n iPhone is insane.

I varnished part of my hair. Dogs are sick of not having that part of the deck but tomorrow they will. The table is drying.

The dogs are enjoying us laying around with no power. Off to cuddle with Havanese and play a game on my iPad that doesn't need Internet connections.

Hoping this is not a long outage or we are in trouble.

No power in the middle of a regular normal good weather day? Did they schedule it?

Our day started out sunny, then rained for just under 2 hrs and we've had sunshine since about noon! The rain did bring in cooler air and it's windy now. Hope the outtage brings about some R&R - like no dinner to prepare . . . maybe the men can BQ . . . ?

Yes, as Lori said, odd to have outage on such a normal weather day... it's been beautiful down where I live .. a bit overcast at times but nothing to say "power outage" ....... is weather bad in your neck of the woods??? Hope it's not heading down this way .... it sure does force one to go back to basics (without electronics, etc....)

Sunny, bright and have no clue but everyone was out. We are now finally back up and thankfully as I was worried about the fridge and the fact that we only have 2 flashlights. hahahaha

Debi: Cheese and crackers for me, popcorn for Nathan...what a meal!

Still have no idea why we had an outage. But our neighbours were all out in force and that is unusual. You hardly see them except for the guy across the street who seems to watch everyone. hehe

Calling Powerstream you never talk to anyone to report an outage. You just talk to a machine and the bleeping machine hardly understands you so you repeat what you are saying many times. You get no info - so unpersonal.

We had an outtage for several hours a few weeks back. It is strange. A couple of years back we had our power go out several times a day, day after day and it got ridiculous so I called and was told squirrels were doing it. So, we neigbours got together and called one by one getting the same answer. Once we ALL wrote one letter the problem disappeared. You never know . . .

Darlah! Sometimes chips and/or popcorn and ice cream makes my day! It can tend to get rid of cravings too and next day, it's salad! LOL

Oh ladies, if you only knew.....cereal for dinner is my favorite even with the power on. I probably shouldnt admit to that. I find skipping dinner and going straight to dessert is optimal!

a power outage is also a great opportunity to ealt all the ice cream in your freezer !!!

May 17, 2012 | Unregistered Commentervalerie

Yes Valerie! One can't let all the stuff in the freezer melt! LOL

You have probably seen Angelica Houston wearing lia sophia jewellery on the show Smash the last 3 weeks...! It is being worn on so many shows and celebrities.

We look forward to talking to you soon!

Shelley - I seem to recall Darlah mentioning jewellery that is made by one of their puppy's owners. Is that you? If so, I would love to know your website so I can take a look. And, I will make sure to check in to "Smash" and see what Anjelica is wearing!

Shelley: Nathan is sending you mail about possible cottage times before Fiona pups.
