Simba & the Crew

Simba came for a visit, a grooming/bath and to have fun and he did.

He got to play with his brother Benji. I can't believe how much Simba's hair has grown. Between Phantom and Fiona, they have super hair. Fiona's hair grows very fast too.

Everyone had fun today but each day we take turns with the pool so I am not brushing my hand off. It works and they all get their fun with the exception of Ziggy who goes in on the step no matter what.

It's always MY turn don't you know?

Maxine, a Treasure pup is here as well till Sunday. She will go swimming before she goes home so you can see how she does. Ziggy also leaves then too. Coco, Doozie and Rocky decided today was not their pool day and they were happy playing silly games with Dennis as he tried to figure out all the commands they know.

Panda went home with Logan - heat over - hooray!

Here are a few photos from today.

I feel a fondness for this litter of Fiona's b/c they were just born when we went for our 1st visit. Darlah brought them out for us to see from afar and I do remember Simba. The white body and dark head are unforgettable! Luv the "brows." :-)

Always, Sue and you should hear the running and play in our house right this moment. Much better now that the gals don't have to be segregated. More room and more bodies to tackle. It's a riot!

Sue RF (I know I have the right Sue this time.) How are things going w/ your little one - and his new pal? Great time to have a little one to train . . . early rising sun and warm weather sure helped me w/ all mine! :-)

Hi Deb! Mickey is phenomenal! We love him. At first Ella (my Cavalier) was terrified of him, but now they sleep together and play together a lot! I'm still working on the house training ... but all is good. He is able to hold it overnight from 11:00 until 6:00 which I think is pretty good, since he's so young (10 weeks). Also, I did need that bitter apple after all, as our baseboards are just the height of his mouth! :) He's spunky and adorable and he loves everyone in the house ... even the cat!

That's great Sue! Congratulations on the long sleeps. As for the house training . . . my thought is that it's we who have to be trained to take them out at the right times . . . the mistakes are ours. :-) Sounds like you'll have Mickey trained in no time. Perhaps Ella will be of help - I don't know since I've never had two at one time, but that's what I hear. Keep us posted on that one. I'm sure others would be interested as well . . . those of us that are pondering over t-w-o!

Simba is a tri colour. Although he looks just black and white he has a tan gene in there and that tan colour will crop in from time to time. Tri-colours have those interesting eyebrows.

Deb: We have a number of Talemaker puppy families that have 2 of our pups. It does work when it is the right fit.

July 21, 2012 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Darlah, I realize that and follow these families closely when they post. I've thought of having two but the timing was never right. The timing is getting better as all seems great w/ Laci! Want to give her (and Doug) a little more time. Like having a baby, it's a decision to be made carefully. (All that said, I'm ready!) :-)

I agree that everyone has to be onboard. ;-)
