Wow! What a handsome boy he is!
I can't wait to see him upclose and personal.
Envy is a beautiful boy! How is his training coming along? His hair is long. Laci's is about the same and I wonder if I liked the length a couple of weeks ago a tad better. Still want the top knot longer though for those ponytails!
Laci's hair is that long - bravo. Usually Abigail's pups their hair grow slower than the Wasabi crew but you have Phantom in the mix. Panda has that Phantom hair too - nice! I love, love, love that fullness but not cottony texture like Shoshi's hair.
Oh how is his training going? Let's put it this way, he will be perfect for the ring. Paula likes to win. She is HIGHLY competitive. Even when she has no time everything she does is with an end result in mind with training. She takes him camping so he gets used to walking in grass. She sends him to friends for a week here and there so he is not needy and becomes confident wherever he is. She takes him around the horses so big dogs aren't a concern. She has a network of show people she can do this with. We don't have that luxury. She will show him and if he is promising she will send him out with a handler. We never send them out with handlers as I don't trust them to treat my dogs right but she has one that is actually really good to the dogs but she only shows for a select clientele - only takes a few dogs and she will show for Paula.
She has always loved Wasabi as her structure truly is stunning. She has a poetry in motion gait. She wanted a puppy from her due to that and for now at least nothing has gone off show criteria wise. He seems to have her movement and for the ring, that is important. For a pet, it doesn't matter one iota.
Time will tell but trained - oh yes - in a big way. She's been known to have them self stack at 6 months which is unusual. Puppies usually have no patience for such things. :-)
great to see Envy ... stunning boy ....
He is so beautiful. Brie's hair is also getting very long like his. I love it. I am trying to let it get as long as it is going to get. We will see. Love him!!
Great to learn of Envy's accomplishments! What is stacking?
Laci seems to have two different types of hair - at least for now. The shoulder and head area are silky w/ a slight wave and the body is more cottony and straight. KInd of like it though as it has quite the bounce w/ her strutt. Not sure if it will remain that way or if the differences are due to puppy coat on the back. The last tip of body hair has some flecks of black that were barely noticeable, but the next few inches beneath are pure apricot. Quite lovely - if I may say so myself! :-)
After we thought Laci has seen and been introduced to most everything, low and behold if we didn't realize she hadn't met up w/ a baby in a stroller. She stopped and stared and let out a real doggie bark (which is rare for her.) I told Hilda that should be on the conditioning sheet as well. LOL
