I agree Lori Socks is quite adorable...

Socks really is cute. Is he a puppy or just appears one due to his short do?

Often times Darlah lets us know when she comes across a fun toy for our dogs and I appreciate that. So thought I'd tell you that I came across a pig at Shoppers Drug Mart (pet toy dept) that makes the craziest pig noise. Most squeaky toys make the same noise, but this one is a riot! I wish I had of gotten video of Laci when I first gave it to her. She was pouncing on it, running away and so on. Right now it's her favourite toy and it makes her all lively and happy. I luv watching her w/ it!

Also, re the animal sherpa blankets many of us got at Costco. Instructions were not to wash the pillow, but I did and it turned out fine. (I have a front loader.) It also partially tumble dried well too! Thought I'd let you know as I was fearful of ruining it b/c it became Laci's favourite place to sleep when in her pen. :-)

Debi: We wash ours daily and it is still holding up and I dry them. :-) Thanks for the tip on the pig. I got some animal ones from TSC that are cute and the dogs love them too. I think I may have a pig too but they are still in a bag still fresh. Will take a photo to see if they are similar.

Socks is about a year old I believe. He's a pup from Yvonne's Lola and someone else's dog. We also take care of his sister Jlo who is a fraction of his size. Socks is a cutie and yeah he has a very short puppy coat that is easy care and dries very fast.

Yes, I've washed that blanket many times and dried it. It is holding up well.

Also, speaking of toys....I got these little stuffed toys that are various animals....pig, bull, sheep, cow, etc. a student of mine gave them to me as a gift for the clinic but we didn't want to worry about spread of germs so Roger thought they might be better for Scruffs. He absolutely loves them!!! Probably because I also play with him by making the animal noises and then having him fetch them. Roger finds me hilarious but I swear Scruffs thinks the whole game is just the bees knees! :)
