Happy Thanksgiving

Thanks to Lori and Roger we got some really cute seasonal photos that gave us the opportunity to say we hope you are having a great holiday weekend.

We are taking walks (great day for it), running in the back and I still have 1 more dog to wash to go home for after the Thanksgiving festivities. This way she will be perfectly clean to go to sleep with Mommy and Daddy after they fed 41 people - oh boy.

Lots of baths this weekend for the holidays and I groomed Max and Missy but I decided the rest can wait till tomorrow.

I have to add this photo as I thought it was ever so cute.

Togetherness!

Great picture of Scruffy & Pepper! Not hard to tell the gender. Scruffy appears all boy and isn't Pepper quite the little lady! How cute. :-)

*sigh* Is it really possible that only my dog inflicts such pain on my hardwood floors? Pepper and Scruffy look so good, but so does that floor! Who knew my little 16lb dog could inflict such damage with those toenails? Next time, tile for sure!

Our floors take a beating too and we cut nails all the time. Sometimes they are sharper right after cutting I am afraid but necessary. How is the Ripley?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and especially the dawgs :)
They make us so thankful for every day, don't you you think?

The floors were freshly steam cleaned for Thanksgiving and now freshly covered in mud thanks to it raining yesterday. Scruffy and Pepper were freshly bathed and now also covered in mud <sigh>

Darlah, since I put Scruffy and Pepper together in the front seat like that, he is calmer in the car. Just one more way that Pepper has made him better. She definitely is his soul mate :)

nora and pepper still look a lot alike but now pepper looks so much more glamorous. i guess that's what happens when you are separated at birth!

Scruffy and Pepper are absolutely adorable together! I wish Lilly would leave her topknot in her hair but everyday I put it in and by lunchtime she has managed to get it halfway out! And Timmy's too! LOL What's a Mom to do?

Alene: Nora is adorable!

Irma: That's so funny.

Lori: It was nice that Scruffy said I like this one or maybe that was Pepper. hahahaha

Irma: Pepper never keeps her top knot in either. I groomed them and then immediately took this photo as I knew it wouldn't last long. She is a play monkey and gets herself all messed up. Occasionally I have to stop Scruffy from tugging out her elastic. She is a princess though. Lets me dress her up and after she initially says "what the hey is this?", she forgets she is even wearing it.

Alene: one night when we went to pick up Pepper, she came running to me, licking my face, and then I said wait a minute, this isn't Pepper! It was Nora and I almost didnt realize it. They are so very much alike.

Alene: she is welcomed here. Some do not get how important it is to be gentle. Many will bite the comb etc to announce they do not like it as they are getting hurt. It takes a long time to play recovery from that but it is doable.

I just saw your note in email. Thats wonderful. Glad you love them to pieces!
