Bailey's Cat Moment

Click on Photo for Larger View

Not all havanese appreciate getting dressed up. Roxie tried to bite her costume off. But Bailey got his snip, snip yesterday and the assistant seemed to have split his skin when she shaved him. I know accidents happen but it sort of adds insult to injury in my opinion. But I am sure he will be better and each day he will feel more like himself.

Bravo for doing the costume thing. Roxie doesn't have a reason but boy she wasn't happy either. For her it was a bucking bronco, bite this costume off of me.

You are a beauty and good healing vibes going your way. You have the best human Mommy and I am sure she is spoiling you silly. Work that guilt. It will only work for so long. (hahahaha)

Got to see their oops. Not happy. It's a first. It will heal but poor boy - ouch. In all the years I have used the clippers I never did anything like that and I have had some mighty squirmy dogs. <sigh> Actually never nicked a dog. That's usually a sign of dull blades.

He is a trooper and yes I am spoiling him and yes he is loving every minute! Couldn't have asked for a better dog! The fact that he went to training last night and was up to participating and a star pupil is a true testament to his character! Love him to pieces!

Sylvia: Couldn't ask for a better human mommy too. You are right. I think if I got nicked like that without anesthesia I may not be participating and doing so well. Bravo, lil one. I love you to pieces too. :-) On another note it does look like it will heal well. I wish humans healed as fast as they do.

We had only havanese in our class as the rottie mix didn't show up. It was a great class for Cali who I practiced with. Not one for Adele who Nathan only semi practiced with. Practice DOES help. Adele and Bentley look so similar in size etc. Cali is the tiniest. She refused to allow me to walk behind her and around. She insisted on turning circles with me. I had a sense of humor so it went well.
