Just Some Fun

I have limited time today and didn't get many photos. I will tell you why.

I woke up this morning to find out Nathan and Dennis didn't bring any of the dog stuff in and it rained so I got to do laundry all day and I mean all day. Then Nathan is doing an outside show so we had to get ready for that. That meant he wanted my big grooming table (he's picking up someone to go with him and this big table means he doesn't have to drive downtown) so I got to disassemble that, reorganize that room (its not done) and groom a slew of dogs before they left. I get the little table.

Shady and Nora is up at the cottage. Benji arrived. Plus we were supposed to go to class and that is impossible - sorry folks. You see I have to wash Jeannie tonight and class would mean at 9pm when I arrived home I would have to bathe her. I just don't have the energy today so I apologize.

But Nora, Shady, Rocky is knot free, Brewer is and so is Logan, Panda and Benji. I started in on my own but haven't finished and I suspect it will wait till tomorrow.

Here are a few photos of Rocky and Benji playing. This does my heart good.

Now to update the other blogs and get back to setting up everything in my grooming room and then washing Jeannie.

Great photos, especially 2 dogs dancing or are they having a boxing match ??? Hahaha

Missed seeing you guys today after Bailey's training. Bailey was definitely looking for you as we'll, as he didn't seem to want to leave. I had to actually pick him up. He did awesome this week though. No shaking and did the perfect down, down stay and down, stay, come. Of course, when I ran out of the good stuff (real chicken) he snubbed the Texas Hold 'ems. I think someone is a little spoiled! It's a good thing class was about over. Hmmm who might he take after? I'm thinking we are going to start calling him Prince Bailey :)

Sylvia: I am truly sorry we were not there. If we had gone to class we would be arriving home in about 10 minutes and then I would have to wash Jeannie for an early morning show. Usually I try to do whatever I can but I am out of steam. It would have meant going to bed at around 11 and getting up at 5ish. Instead I just finished washing her. I really wanted to be there as it was our last class but I would have been walking around in a fog drinking caffeine all day trying to stay awake. We missed seeing you and Bailey and it sounds like taking him to class like we did was good for him. Bravo that he did well and Fiona is spoiled too if she can get away with it. :-) Gracie is coming starting Monday for daytime play date. How does he connect with her in class?

They seemed to get along. He's drawn to her more than other dogs, probably because she's a Havi.. No worries about class. You needed to do what works best for you. As much as we want to do it all our bodies tell us otherwise. I completely understand about running out of steam! I am just getting mine back and it's practically taken a week of not having to set my alarm clock for work to get there. You don't realize how exhausted you really are until you begin to feel energetic again. Today was the first day I can actually say I was!
