Busy Times

We are busy this weekend but come Sunday that changes as Nathan returns and dogs depart and I think Daisy descends on us with her gleeful play. We are also going to get a puppy of Fiona's Griffin who is visiting - such fun!

But again I don't have my lenses this weekend nor a stick for my video camera. Nathan has all the good stuff. hahahaha Oh and Jeannie did nothing at the show as she decided it was playtime just because it was too exciting. But that's okay. She's allowed fun even if it is at the expense of getting points. Besides deep down I adore a dog that shows off and has fun at the most inappropriate times maybe cause that is who I was as a kid - if you can believe.

Well here are the photos I did get. First batch is Fast and Furious no hair tie fun!

Next is water dish fun and yes Truffie is standing in the dish with ice cubes in it. Silly boy but all got involved in this game after Truffie did it. I had put the camera down and Sadie actually jumped in the air and landed in it. It was the most crazy thing. Nothing that great ever happens when you have a camera in hand or well sometimes the odd times it does.

The next set is lazing type photos. Realize my macro really shines at still photos. heh Oh why dop you havce my good lenses Nathan - I know so you can take photos for the magazine.

Ice cubes in water work all the time! Or just a couple of ice cubes thrown on the grass. So much fun for the dogs. Looks like you guys had fun. As for Jeannie....well good for her for wanting to have fun :-)

Truffie got them all started by standing in a bowl full of ice then one by one they started soaking their faces getting the ice cubes out but only Roxie and Truffie stood in the bowl so I think I changed it out 6 times. Faces okay feet in garden in bowl - no - hahaha how silly of me. I throw ice cubes on the floor - well I sometimes drop them by accident emptying ice trays. They adore them that way too. I woke up last night at 2am with a thigh cramp as so many dogs was laying on me. No Nathan to take some of them to body hang on.

What a treat to have the dogs all to yourself!

It WAS but I am not sure I got much sleep as everyone wanted to sleep either next to me or on top of me. I think that is what created the cramping in my thigh. Also when I woke up I had no pillow. They had taken it over. hahahahaha Tonight another night without Nathan. May take a nap with the dogs today after much play and inbetween a bath and feeding pups. Doesn't look like I will get one but Sunday calms down. We get the Daisy coming and the Griffin pup coming - hooray!

Truffie seems to have rediscovered his fun and play 'button' . He can just be himself
if none of the girls are in heat.
Jeannie is still young and mischievous she has time for her ribbons.

Kathy she made 4th in a line up of a ton of dogs today and Tangles made 1st. But she sat down when the judge came to her. She was the last dog though and it takes a long time to get through hundreds of dogs but Nathan said she stayed stacked till he got to her. Got to love it. So, she did well today and so did Tangles. Miss Abs makes nice pups too. :-)

PS: Truffie has his play back in a HUGE way, Kat too. Heats turn them into mindless beings.
