Just a Day

Shoshi Shark Fun

Adele says I am going to get you!

Then shake and start again.

Teddy has really got into exercise, running and playing like I haven't seen quite like it. He is rather enjoying himself. I love to see dogs having fun! Who knew he could run like THAT!

Inula just watched the fun!

Oh and that Spice just smiled at it all! Mabel is so much like her too!

Who and what is Inula? She looks too tall to be a Havanese!

Inula is a tibetan terrier.

Is she yours? She is lovely.

Yes, she is ours - to replace the goldens so the pups can be socialized to bigger dogs.

Wow, they look like Havanese on stilts, I just looked at a photo of an adult.

Sue, that they do but VERY different personalities though Inula is getting conditioned to Havanese ways. There are just some hardwired differences. They are more stubborn. They need more activity. They are busy and in a house where she can go from one to the next it works. We have been all over her to train her not to bark. (Their bark or shall I say whine) goes right through you like a high shrill noise you can't stand. They say if you get them not to do it early on they don't. They are smart. Inula did this early on but hasn't for some time. She knows it doesn't get her what she wants. We used to go to shows with Val and Jebi did this as an adult. He was not crate trained so shows and car rides were interesting. I brought lots of aspirins. Her puppy Yeshi and Inula are crate trained at Nathan's insistence. It will make shows and car travel easier. People used to move away from us due to Jebi's whining.

Val insists we are making Inula a Havanese but talking to many that have TTs the key is to get them trained early and clearly set the boundaries. It is working. What you put in early on counts they say and we are doing that. She does her last class in obedience this week. In a week and a half for fun she does a show for 1 day. I hope I can go as the pups will be older by then. We shall see.

Thank you, for the information it is very interesting that there are so many breeds but each with their own little ways. You are right, just by looking you would think they would be the same as a Hav. I am sure you will get her to be the she can be, all your dogs are fantastic.
