Drab Day

They say the rain is coming and you know what that means? Mud, mud, mud and baths. Mommy had a full day as she has been busy getting Daddy ready for the show. He thinks it's all on him and this time much of it was as Mommy had a bath to do and Daddy decided not to start yesterday. hahahaha

So, Mommy didn't take photos. Daddy forgot his camera. She's almost done grooming everyone but figures if it starts raining tonight we won't look like it. Daddy got her a contraption to put on her hand that makes it comical to watch her groom. These days she wears her grooming jacket more than not as she grooms us here and there till done.

My human brother Jonathan had his clavicle surgery and he's not so good so Mommy needs to keep checking on him. He is in a lot of pain despite pain pills. So Mommy is a bust with the blogs but she will add some news on each. She should have done blast of the past today.

Sorry we can't do better today. Mommy hasn't even eaten but guess what us dawgs did - yum! I am going to remind that human that tomorrow she needs to dehydrate more chicken.

Frannie comes to visit tonight - fun!

Remind Human Mommy when she is dehydrating that chicken for you guys to save a piece to cook for herself! Hope Jonathan starts to feel better soon. Take care of yourself too!

So sorry to hear Jonathan is still in pain. Surgery and broken bones are not easy to take and of course our boys are always such babies when it comes to being sick. My son always wanted chicken noodle soup when he was ill. (I didn't do the homemade stuff until I retired). Nathan can always buy one of those disposable cameras or beg someone to take pictures for him. Next time maybe he will make up a packing list (best thing ever when I went on trips with my painting group) and check things off as he puts them in the suitcase. I have one on my computer that I have modified over the years but simply type up before every trip. But Darlah, you must take care of your hand and the rest of you of course. Maybe get some of that protein powder they sell at health food stores and make yourself a smoothie that you can sip between all your many tasks. I always have some on hand for when I am busy. I use frozen fruit and milk and it fills me up. I use a product from USANA and it is not bad tasting. Hope you get a good night's sleep and some time sitting back to watch TV surrounded by dogs. Make sure Dennis takes a picture of you relaxing a little so we will all know that you do get a timeout once in a while.
Thinking about you all. Stay well. Love the blogs.

Thanks for the pictures. Take care Darlah, you only have so much energy.
I hope that Jonathan is a little more comfortable. Bone pain is quite severe.

I wish Nathan all the best at the show.

Sending warm wishes to Jonathan for a speedy recovery. Take it easy Darlah this weekend. Maybe lots of snuggles with the dogs in Nathan's absence and less grooming. Rain on the way here too so grooming doesn't last long. BUT, we want spring so it comes with rain, mud and mess...yikes

Just finished everyone but Shoshi - grooming that is but not sure why. Also got chicken dehydrating. Dogs had to wait till pups ate. They went what the hey. It will be a long weekend with the rain. But at least with grooming they may not look like it 5 minutes later but I know they are knot free. Haven't even managed to take puppy photos forget about adults. First sit down today. Not going to last as moms have to feed pups soon.

Jon is not doing well. He is moody - not happy about anything. I did make him a fruit/yogurt shake and he did say thank you.

I do packing lists all the time. I usually pack for him but this time he was mostly on his own so he said I don't need a list. He doesn't ask for directions either. Oh well - would have liked the photos. :-( Who knows what else he forgot but that's how you learn, I suppose.

Heard Adele was playing with Paula's cat and Paula said I am going to send this cat home with you. yeah - right.

Gerda: This is Hot Pot Chicken - thin stuff - not something I can make for me. It's okay as last night I had mega stomach issues that kept me up till 2am. I think it was wise that I hadn't eaten or I may have been up till 4am. :-)
