Hot Day

It's been a hot day. Here are some of the photos from today with one set comedy hour trying to get Zoe, Cali, Molly and Spice in one photo. We are talking Spice pups so that was INTERESTING.

Finn, Spice, Molly and Zoe all went swimming. Finn has no hair so he could live in there but he didn't want to. They all did well swimming but they wanted to laze and chill.

Fun was had by all... and it hasn't come to a conclusion yet! Tomorrow we get to see Monty, Mac and Raylan. Looking forward to seeing the humans they belong to as well. :-) Pippin and Gracie are going to drop in. Can I say pool time?

It looks like they are having a blast! Thank you so much Darlah and Nathan for taking such good care of Zoe and Molly, we miss them already. I think they should sleep well tonight :)

Truffie looks so big next to Finn, at least I think it's Truffie? Wonderful weather for swimming! Enjoy!

Why is Finn's hair so short? Does he get really hot in the summer?

Finn was matted and groomers feel and rightly so if they are too matted - zip it off and grow again. It's less stress for the dog and it does grow back. He had hair like Truffies - massive, thick locks. I think when it grows back in we will thin it out so its easier care. You can only thin out a coat so thick like his was.

Anne: Yes its Truffie. It is amazing what hair does to our perception. :-)

PS: the hair acts as an insulator so they are actually cooler with hair.

Cathy: They are having a blast. Hoping they sleep tonight. Last night they wanted Nathan to play with them. Thats okay as he had an excuse to take a nap.
