Too Crazy Day

Sorry this is short but I had grooming to do, pool to jump in. Roxie was in trouble as she jumped in without Daddy while we were all out there. He told her no. She said talk to the paw. Oh my!

Dusty departed after another bath. Pippin is knot free and such a great gal for putting up with my grooming.

Finn finally recognized that there were gals around to play with that played like him vs. trying to get at Cali.

The daughter came up to chat and veg. I didn't get anything done that I planned other than grooming, trying a tele-extender and cuddling with dawgs. But there are days like that plus Adele had knots just looking at her as her heat concluded. That happens at times. I will have to go to a wash every 5 days till that passes.

Tomorrow Nathan is at the show, Zoe and Molly depart (oh boy have they been fun) and I have baths for the show and grooming. I may skip the pool. heh. They say rain anyways tomorrow. We shall see.

If I don't make sense, I am tired!

Pippin looks really cute. She looks like a stuffed toy. Has her hair silvered or is it just the way the one picture looks.
Her brother Mateo has really silvered on his head. The black on his back looks like apricot on the roots. Could the black change to apricot. He has a really thick and long coat. I have taken him to be groomed, but left the length of his hair. I am fearing the problems I might have when he blows his coat. When I took him to be groomed, they were really surprised, because of the length of his hair he didn't have one mat. Is it best to get it cut before he blows his coat.

Diane: Love to see a photo if you can pretty please! You should also come visit sometime.

Apricot can bleed through and change. He does have silver and apricot in the line so it is all possible.

He may or may not blow his coat. Some do, some don't. You may be one of the lucky ones. If not, it passes fast. Unless you cut it very short it doesn't eliminate the issue. Like Finn short. He had very thick hair and I suspect that is what happened to him.

Hormones play a part too. Adele is matting fiercely. I comb her out in the morning and she has severe mats at night when the coat is dirty. This happened as she just was in heat. I will be washing her every 5 days so I eliminate the knots. This helps you save the coat and get past this stage.
