Got Another Water Dog

Got this photo from Ruth.

She said:

Hi:

Here is a photo of Katie "rafting" with her pal Maisie (a 11 month old toy poodle at their pool.  She loves it.  Climbs on and off the raft herself.

Thanks Ruth for making my day. I am also not going to do an update other to say the dogs are well. I have the magazine to get out so I want to concentrate on that and here you thought it was all Nathan. :-)

Thank you goes out to Ozzie's parents for giving me a present called Andiroba. I had to look it up. Still not exactly sure how to apply it but researching.

More tomorrow but everyone is sitting on Nathan watching TV as we have had once again RAIN.

I'm sorry I didn't explain, Darlah. It is just a very nice soap, made in the northern Amazon, and includes an oil from the Andiroba (Brazilian mahogany) tree. The oil is used by the locals as a nartural insect repellant, for skin problems, and to relieve arthritis symptoms.

Ellen: No reason to feel sorry. I appreciate it truly. So you use it as a soap?

Yes, it is soap made and sold in a village about 3 1/2 hours north of Manaus, Brazil, on the Rio Negro. I haven't used it as yet, because I'm currently using another one (camu-camu) that we brought back. I just like the scents!

If it stops the mosquitoes then I think I am in love with it. Will try it tomorrow!

Katie really gets her love of the water naturally with Roxie as her mother and Kat as her father. She is really special!

The pool mats really helped Roxie. She started out on one putting her face in the water and it progressed from there.
