Busy and Sick Day

This is Frannie sitting on the messy kitchen table. Dennis was reading the newspaper and Frannie decided to join him. Yes, he told her to get down but he had to snap a photo of her first. Tsk Tsk
I have the throat from hell today and a ton of mucous so I am under the weather. So blogs are short. Here is a gallery taken just before Scruffy and Pepper arrived and a tad just after.
It's Pepper's 3rd birthday tomorrow! She will get an extra special treat and a bath. Oh she will love me for that.
I may add some more photos after Dennis takes more. But this may have to do. We shall see.
Cooper arrived this morning and he is really connecting with Levon and Inula. You have to look at the gallery to see Cooper's expressions.
Dogs are doing really well but I need to go to the airport to get Gerda's 3. Thank gad Jon is going to drive me as I am not up to it.
Barry as usual revels in the fetch toy play game. You can just see it in his expression.
Dolly who is just here for a play day is having a blast. But she will be departing when I am at the airport. So, I doubt he will get another play session in outside till I get back as I depart in 15 minutes. That's okay, they are playing fetch inside. It's a bit wild and crazy in here.

Hope you feel better, Darlah, sore throats suck.
This sore throat is so bad I have a hard time swallowing. Codeine helps but seems to only lasts about 2.5 hours. I am also filled with fluid. I hope I sleep tonight. 3 nights of not sleeping a night is a bit much with all that I have to do. Dogs are really having a blast. Now you can see Levon plays too not just Trigger. Sometimes you have that camera on hand and sometimes not.
Darlah, look after yourself. You should get your throat check to confirm its not strep

Levon loves to engage many of the dogs in one on one play. Frannie seems to love playing ball. Quite a few of the dogs engaged in chasing the ball.
Well, Nathan is away till Monday so can't do anything till then. Can't leave Dennis alone. So drugs and hoping for the best. We are actually getting pens etc cleaned up early so I can try to get into bed at 10. Lately its been about 1130. Our night time wrap up takes a few hours. Crazy, eh. I really need it to be 10. We shall see. I still have a load to do.
There's always the doctor house call service that's covered by OHIP. I do worry about strep. Hope you feel better soon.
Do you need throat spray? I can bring you some tomorrow when I pick up the dogs?
I have lozenges - just not working. Also gargling with salt.
Sherry: Can you imagine a non dog person coming to the house. That's a hysterical thought. Will have to wait till Nathan is back or maybe when he is back I can crawl into a bed and get well.

Darlah! We just got back online and are at the airport, we'll be home around 5. Thank you so much for posting all those pictures. We miss Barry so much but seeing him having so much fun is fantastic. Wish we lived closer to you...id have him at your house for play dates weekly! I'm bringing you some Buckleys lozenges!! Feel better soon. We'll be at yours tomorrow (Sunday) at noon.
