Wild Children Fun

Got to love the dogs. This was Cooper before he went home. He was making a mad dash to try to catch Casey. They had so much fun today but we were not always clicking. It was a busy day. Here is a small gallery.

We also have Abigail here and Adele's brother Bentley. Abigail doesn't look the same as her hair is very short but she is still her. See if you can figure out who is Ms Abs. Roxie already said, no, I am the queen here. She didn't do it in a mean way. She just wanted to say... I am queen. Usually it is Risa who has that slot but as Ms. Risa gets older she could care less. hehehe Dogs are so funny. I feel so blessed to have the Ms. Abs visiting.

Casey is also cut short and she seems to enjoy the shorn look as she can run like the wind. Everyone enjoyed chasing Casey today but most of all she enjoyed them chasing her.

This is a photo of Casey as a puppy.

Penny has been a snuggle bunny. Everyone is doing well but I had a dematting today that took me almost 3 hours so the blogs are what they are... Just know they ARE all having fun.

PS: Look at Leti's blog to see her belly shots.

I don't recall seeing Casey before, or Penny. Coop sure was chasing after Casey. Now I know why he is dead tired.... Must have been so nice to see Miss Abs. Coop looked wonderful when we picked him up. Thanks for the many brushings!

Oh Anne - my pleasure and he likes the treats. :-) Added a photo of Casey when she was a pup.

It is nice to see Adele. It's been too long and I did miss her.

Whenever you don't remember seeing someone, use the Search just below the logo and see past photos. Penny is a Fiona pup.

Angela, you are right, it does our heart good to see them all having fun, especially in such a safe and loving environment. Couldn't ask for a better home away from home place, truly!

3/4 are there! Adele, Bentley and Harper!! It's like a family reunion!! I miss my little guy :(

Harper is truly enjoying the older gang. He came in soaked this morning and just had a blow dry. It is wet outside. He liked the treats but looked at me cross eyed wondering why I had to rinse and dry. He had mud up to his chest. He decided chasing a squirrel in the mud was a fun game. Got to love him. I googled retractable roof enclosures today. hahahahahahahaha The things I would do if I won the lottery.

Is Abigail in the 1st 3 photos?

Who is the dog in photos 16-18? Gorgeous hair and pretty pretty face!

It must have been very nice for you to have Ms Abs back for a visit. :-)

Cooper is 16-18 and Abs is 1 and 2 and she is still here. Staying for a few days.

My 1st thought was Cooper, but his colouring appears changed - darker areas. Such a beautiful dog! Anne & her husband do such a great job maintaining his coat!

Lucky you to have Ms. Abs for an extended visit. Lucky her too! :-)

Funny, I wasn't sure if it was Cooper in photos 16-18 also until I saw the topknot. I also noticed the dark area on the tips but I think it was because he was "flying" and his hair was in the wind, therefore we got to see the dark underneath.

I remember Casey now when she was a pup. So many names to remember :-)))

It's also him in 16-25. :-0 Movement is interesting in perception. The hair moves, changes appearance etc.

December 27, 2015 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Laci has a charcoal strip of colour on both her ears as well as darker apricot. They aren't often noticeable unless running around.

I love how the sophisticated cameras catch hair movement in motion.

Hi Debi,

I love the detail Darlah captures too, incredible. But, I think not only do you need a good camera, you need a darned good photographer as well.

Hi Angela:

One of my Granddaughters is becoming a good little photographer. She has a good camera and has been fortunate enough to be taking lessons from a retired teacher/photographer. She's actually won an award w/ her subject Miss Laci! :-) (But how could she not?!)

Darlah catches great moments of all her little Havs and we so enjoy them!

Hi Debi,

Good for your granddaughter. Being a good photographer takes a lot of time and practice. She and Darlah have something in common.
