Remember When

Bentley is now 4 years old and so is his brother Scruffy! I heard Scruffy had quite the party and here Bentley got a special treat.

I am taking a holiday break for a couple of days. I will just be doing 'remember whens' unless it snows then I will be clicking. Can't miss the first snowstorm. I am actually under the weather so I am being proactive. We are also busy getting ready for the supposed impending snow. We had a racoon do damage in the pool house so we have had to metal cover it up till we can redo the roof come spring. They put 4 HUGE holes in the roof. I guess better the pool shack than the house. The racoons are also gone as there are no signs of them.

We also have to get outdoor furniture in and try to find room for that. hahaha

We also have to paint rooms before the daughter moves in and we are still trying to figure out where things can go and what we have for them to use.

But the dogs are not so muddy today - hooray. I brushed everyone but we need baths but that will wait till they go home and mine when I feel up to par.

Today has been a really low key day without much chasing. Play has been more sedate and tv time seems to be relished in a big way - by us too.

We will have updates but just no galleries or minimal ones.

Glad to hear you are taking a break and trying to relax a little. You do so much for everyone else!
That really sucks about the raccoon damage. luckily I haven't experienced hard core damage, although they used to get into my pond, rip the buds off my water lilies and catch and eat my fancy Chinese goldfish!

You are always on the go, try to take it a bit easier than normal. Your body is saying you need rest. We had raccoons try to get into our roof this fall, first time in over 24 years since we've been in this house. Had to have the roofers come. Raccoons must be really active this year.

Happy 4th birthday to Bentley and Scruffy! A holiday break is good...we all need one at this time of year. Lots of dawgs snuggles...what more can one ask for! Snow is coming so dogs should stay cleaner.

Take care of yourself Darlah. Hugs and snuggles from your dawgs works wonders!

Happy belated birthday to Bentley! He and Scruffy looked like twins when they were little pups. Can't believe it's been 4 years!
Happy New Year to everyone!
