Looking

I am looking for an extra wide walk through gate that isn't white. It needs to fit 41 inches. I need it for the kitchen. Danielle will not be able to walk over the gates back and forth all day. If you see one in your travels or a used one on Craigs etc, please let me know. I need one for January when they move in. So much to acquire before they move in. I am under the mindset they should be getting everything but not turning out that way. The basement is cold so I will need space heaters or extra blankets and an air purifier.

Also, both Shannon and I are looking for a Sleepy Pod so Jayne, where did you get it? Shannon wants another one preferably that chocolate brown - me too.

Gerda: Where did you get those things you donated that make the sounds?

Hi Darlah I ordered them from http://www.urbannaturestore.ca/fun-education/toys-that-teach/audubon-singing-plush-birds/?gclid=CMWC6sfCyskCFWsJwwodGaUDqg

The website says there are stores in Toronto area don't know if they stock them in the stores.

I think there's an Urban Nature Store around Laird and Eglinton. If you show me what it is, I can pick them up for you (when I'm feeling better)

I love the chocolate brown, but would take a hot pink one if it was on sale...Levon is secure in his manhood. LOL.

Sherry: I can also find them online too but you may want one for Murphy as Spice goes WILD about the noises. See Singing Plush Birds. They also have other animals other than birds.

Gerda was kind enough to donate some for the baskets we had for the specialty and I heard they are a HUGE hit at their new home too. I tried winning that too. heh

Oh Shannon you have me laughing hard.

We had a laser air cleaner put on our furnace some years ago. It zaps dust and even kills over 90% of viruses and microscopic germs. We found a far less amount of dust on our furniture. My coughing stopped which took me 3 winter seasons to notice that it only began when the furnace went on.

There are many that do the same that are plug ins that will do one room, only.

Obviously, the one for the furnace is quite expensive, but we felt a good investment. The room purifiers would run you about $200 on average depending on brand.

Dyson and Oreck are good brands I'd recommend. We had an Oreck which was good until I dropped it and broke it.

I got the sleepy pod at a pet store in Kingston. I have seen them at the Global pet store in Orangeville. I might be going that way on Thurs... I can look. Also I think you could probably order it online?

Yikes Darlah! You just keep adding to your busy life! Well... It gets added :)

We have a purifier on the furnace but not sure it is working properly. We also need our ducts cleaned out but think its the wrong time of the year so it will have to wait, I just want extra protection in her room if its not doing it's job.

Jayne:

Let me know.

I will tell you, I didn't plan to have 3 move in with me and 2 are teens. I thought I had my dose of teenagers but someone said I didn't. hahahaha Looking forward to the planned dinners and maybe we will talk one of the grandkids into sleeping with a dog. It may help with their anxiety with all the changes.

Poor Danielle is bleeding from her rectum that is not connected. Sorry about being so descriptive. So she may end up back in hospital.

They are going to have to travel an hour and a half to school each way. So many changes for all.

We will have to share cars, tv, laundry, shower time etc.

The dogs will also have to get used to their activity.

Are you feeling better, Jayne?

Poor Sherry is mighty sick.

We had one previously to this one on the furnace, but there are air purifiers and air purifiers, if you know what I mean. The laser was the latest technology when we got it and made a huge difference.
I agree something for your granddaughter's room would be fitting to your circumstances. I still highly recommend both Dyson and Oreck. You will find them on Amazon as well in an array of prices.

By the way, Shannon, I only want a chocolate brown. It will match my dogs. hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Debi:

Thanks. We bought a VERY expensive unit on ours but I am not sure its working. Have to go down and look and see. It's about 5 years old so doubt its a laser but I do remember it was awfully expensive. Have to find out who put it in and see if they can come service but I have so many other things I have to get done/buy that it may have to wait.

I am doing much better .. Thank you Darlah!

I wish Sherry a speedy recovery!

December 8, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterJayne and Mabel

Lol, Darlah!

I've seen them on the sleepy pod website, but I was never sure which size to order, so that won't be a problem now. Amazon carries them, but charge double the price!

Jayne, I go to the Orangeville Global regularly and never noticed them - talk about oblivious! I'll have a look next time I am there.
