Too Tired
I am so tired I think I am slurring my words - no lie. Ever been punch drunk without a bit of liquor in you? That's me. Tomorrow I get to sand my mistakes, do the 2nd coat and then I am hopeful I will varnish. My goal is still to hang doors on Friday.
Then on Saturday I am going to the Canadian Pet Expo for a quick look and see.
Today we had Christine and Clarity over and I noticed everything is Christine. It's ever so nice but her spirit was elevated with the sight of mommy Panda. She came and gave me hugs plenty but when Mommy left that is who she was focused on. She's made the complete leap. It's nice to see how happy she is.
Thank you for the fruit, Christine and the donation to rescue. Really really appreciated!. Wish I was more awake and hopefully I was not out of it too much. I swear I have stain in my nostrils or the smell of it.
I am still dealing with a leg cramp off and on. Fun... not.
I wish it was the start of the swimming season as I would love to do thsi again when I am awake.
Here is today's galley. Not great photos as I find when I am too tired I don't pay attention so much to settings.
I thought tonight I will do the sanding and another coat but not a chance. I may crawl on to the couch after drying Roxie and Adele as they are still wet from swimming. Nathan brushed them out but they indeed need to be dried.

Great pics of Clarity and Christine, you can feel the love. So very glad Clarity is such a happy girl, and of course Christine too.
Darlah, your pics when you are tired are much better than mine when I'm wide awake, haha.
I think I am so tired I believe I was slurring ,my words/thoughts and hadn't had a drink. Another whole day of doing the doors again tomorrow. I must be nuts. I really enjoyed having Christine over but I am not sure if I was putting together an entire sentence. Oh well this must get done before pups. So much to do, so little time.
Yes, Clarity is obviously happy. I have closure of sorts. Now she needs a playmate. ROFL
Darlah - your pictures are terrific! Don't be so hard on yourself. Relax this evening and get a good night's sleep!
The pictures are great, Darlah!! The action shots are always a lot of fun. No. 62 is very cute ... Saffie looks like she's smirking. I can definitely see how much more comfortable Clarity is swimming looking at these pictures. She even has her tail up in a number of them.
I am forever thankful to you and Nathan for bringing Clarity and I together. She brings so much JOY to my life. I just love her to bits.
Thanks again for the visit. Next time in your pool, there will be 3 of us! ROFL
... get some rest and take care of that leg.. (looks like rain again on Saturday)
Yes well someone has to take the photos. :-) I figure I must get done by tomorrow night but in reality it sounds more like Friday. If rain I will be finishing in the garage - joy. If I finish by Friday it may mean 2 weeks till pups from then. I have so much to do. I have to do my closet as i won't be able to find winter clothes (all day at least job). I have to set up this room and find all my supplies and organize the puppy room upstairs - 2 day job.
Want to know something funny? The leg finally stopped hurting. Each time I moved it the cramp would come back. I must have pinched something. I am crawling into bed shortly and will be dead asleep while Nathan will be up half the night. :-) Did you read that Nathan? Yes, I post the truth here. hahahahahaha
Christine: Thank you truly for coming. I promise next time I will be awake.
Hahahahaha, Nathan - you need to sleep at night!!!! (You make me laugh, Darlah.)
I'm still up working trying to catch up after taking the afternoon off. I'm also getting punchy and not thinking straight any more - so time to call it a night.
Not a problem, Darlah ... I get it. We've all been there and we were trying to sqeeze in a day when we could swim at the end of the season.
Hey, I couldn't believe it when I got home ... I used the front door to load up the car, came back in and got Clarity and we left through the side door (as usual). When I got home, I was shocked to see that I had left the front door WIDE OPEN (screen door was closed, but not locked) ... I didn't think I was tired or loosing it at the time ... gotta wonder.!
Okay, so now I tell you. Please forgive me. When you are sanding doors or furniture with a contour, you can use what is called a flap wheel in your drill.

I am not sure but I think you can even get one for the dremel. Might be a different name.
Love the pictures of all the dogs the last few nights. Finally caught up on the blog. Wish I could convince Ken that Katie really needs a companion. Although at nine she is starting to slow down. Our normal walk is getting to be too much for her and we have to take breaks along the way.
Hope you take some me time before those pups arrive. I don't know how you keep up your pace. Stay healthy if not for yourself then for all your fans out in blog land! Ha ha.
Definitely a fan in blogland!! It's going to be hard to watch the puppy blogs and not bring one home for Murphy :)
Don't forget Patches needs a friend too!! I know, I know, one thing at a time. I am so glad you are seeing the other end of the door saga Darlah, at least you know you have completed the worst part......
Oh Marilyne: I so wish I knew that before I hand sanded. hahahaha Next time. But thank you for thinking about me. I am now working on door 4 and then I need to varnish tonight. Oh boy. I am letting what I did dry and continuing.
When you say she is slowing down is it significant? Risa going on 14 still manages to do a 2 mile walk without issue. Is she getting winded?
It's crazy. I should get things done WAY ahead of time vs just before but do I?
Angela:
Yes, I know. No worries!
Christine - oh my gad - glad everything still was intact. That was scary.
Angela:
Thank you re: the pix. :-)
Loved all the action pictures so many dogs leaping into the pool. I see Kat
decided to jump in from the pool edge. Nice to visit with Christine & Clarity.
She seemed to be okay in the pool. We may not have too many more
swim days in 2015.
Rest up Darlah.
