Lovefest & Play
We had a fun sedate and crazy play day. Does that make sense? We had extremes. It was fun.
Also want to say thank you to Gerda for her donation to Rescue but I must say when the dogs heard what it was they went nuts. Now I have to buy some.
Tomorrow we have boards on the deck to replace. I have pots over areas that need to be replaced. That's tomorrow's job. Then I have sanding to do. Sanding will wait till next week after it quiets down again.
This weekend is turning into a busy but bound to be fun weekend. Hope everyone has a fun holiday weekend.
I posted info on Woofstock on our page on the right side. This way I don't have to keep talking about it.
Nathan is already talking about closing the pool and I want the date just before pups are due. We shall see who gets their way. heh
Ringo departs tomorrow after his bath. We will miss him. He's had a truly fun time.

Spice should be a model for Havanese. She is so beautiful and photogenic! Great pics of today.
The pictures tell the story of a fun day.
I was thinking the exact same thing, Anne ... beautiful head shots of Spicie today.
Given how much you both like to swim, surprised you close your pool so early. I'm in almost every day from early May through Thanksvpgiving in order to get the most out of it. Then I grieve until next spring.
What was it that Gerda donated and the dogs loved so much?
Christine: I love the pool and if I had my druthers. It will depend on the weather, I suppose. I think I love the pool more than Nathan does.
I would like to close it when pups are coming as swimming and pups will not happen.
Here is the link to what Gerda donated. Inula went crazy about the owl but must admit anything I did she went nuts for. I used to have chirpy birds and they coveted those so now I am going to have to go to Woodbridge or call and see what they have. hahahaha
Spice is interesting to click. She is so expressive and elegant. I find her pups are quite interesting too. Her moms are as well. Thank you!
Kathy: The day was fun!
Darlah - LOL !!! I couldn't believe what I just read until I realized what you were actually saying. (I'm still laughing!) You HAVE to read that statement you just wrote about the pool and Nathan ... I think you left out an important word at the end of the sentence "does".
... and, yes, I get that you wont have time to swim when the pups come. From what I've seen, you have no time for anything but the pups once they arrive.
I can't see the link to Woofstock that you mention...
The pics are great. I absolutely agree. Spice is so beautiful. Darlah you deserve to keep the pool open as long as you can.
Go to http://www.talemakerhavanese.com/ and look on the right hand side. Or Click Here and look at the right hand side. You can also see it on the "Events" page.
Christine: When I am tired it is amazing if I can even put together a sentence. hahaha
When pups come I juggle a LOT. I still need to groom and I use my ipad to watch pups when I am grooming etc. When feedings are an hour and a half apart, its a lot of work to make sure everyone is feeding. When they make it up to 3 hours, I go ahhh...
Dennis usually does night time duty. If there is an issue I do day time and night time. I usually don't have much time to eat and I always get sick. I hope all pups are of size this time, eating and doing well. If one needs help, I do what I need to.
Of course I could let them all fend for themselves and lose one or two. Not in my make up to do so.
So for me, if they get born October 5th, I still have a month to get my list done. Deck done. Pool shack getting done. Got to sand doors next week and stain.
