Swimming Video

Here is the Weekend video but it also includes the day before.

Look at the photo I found. Amazing what you find when you are too busy finding everything after a rebuild.

This is a no gallery day. I just feel the need to have a day off from galleries.

Murphy has departed. Ty is visiting here for the day. Kathy dropped by with a lot of baskets, ribbons and all the things you forget you need to build the baskets for rescue. My deepest appreciation!

Oh Cooper you have eternal beauty. :-)

Ella and I managed to get in the pool. Nathan took a nap while we did. With this rain and allergies he's not getting much sleep.

I need to start baths starting with Adele and sand a door. Both I am procrastinating with in a big way. I hate sanding and staining but got to do it THIS week.

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend and wasn't too overheated.

Roxie ate her first good size meal - steak cut in pieces and hand fed to her. It's going to be a LONG pregnancy. Adele is past it. Hoping Roxie gets there too.

What a crazy, fun video to watch! Unreal! Amazing to see al the dogs jumping in the pool, running around, all having as good a time as the humans! Love Kat's drying technique! Great way to end the summer but hopefully more pool days on the way before you close.

I thought I was seeing things when I went back to today's blog! Wow, that pic will be 4 years old in November. Such a cutie pie then, and now. Thanks for bringing back such a good memory (not that I will ever forget).

Cooper what a cutie as a pup. Now he is a handsome boy.

Loved seeing all the diving, swimming and jumping action.
Kat does have a great drying off technique.

Wonderful video, such fun. Anne and Russell you had a beautiful boy then and do now. You all look so happy. Darlah, I don't blame you about the door. Professional painter needed while you watch with your feet up before all those pups come.

Such a fun video! I've watched it 3 times now (poor Clarity is crying "enough already! either let them out to play or turn that thing off". Love how Kat is wagging his tail high above the water while swimming! Clarity is like Saffie... "Ok, yes i can swim, now let me outta here."

Hearing all the excited dogs barking, Kona had to come over to the computer to
see what was going on. Great video of all the swimmers.

Darlah is Roxie one of the swimming dogs? I know how how much she loves to swim! But with her terrible morning sickness is she still in the mood to swim?

Steak fed by hand. Gotta love it. No wonderful all your puppies turn out so wonderful!

I can only afford me. :-) So it will be me that stains and sands, I am afraid. I wish a lottery ticket would come in. :-)

Ruth:

Roxie is still swimming and her previous pregnancy she swam up to a week before. If you have a passion.... Adele was swimming too.

Christine:

Re: Saffie... she will like it by next year. Just wait. Inula ran for the door her first year till this year. Have you played with Clarity on the mats?

You mean outside the pool and then in the pool? ... You'll have to show me all your tips, I only take her in on the weekends as I don't tend to go in until after 8 during the week and this isn't enough time for her to dry off.

Darlah - that video was awesome! Abby and I watched it over and over. Everyone was having so much fun!

Fabulous video. Kat can give lessons on how to dry off after the swim. I loved seeing Murphy(?) cautious at first and thento the action began and jump right in. What fun everyone appears to be having. Perfect day. Thanks for sharing.

Ronnie: Funny Murphy was not cautious. She embraced the water where Saffron will swim but say let me out of here. Its hard to get the true flavor from a glimpse. Murphy likes to play a game at waterside that Nathan does where they do the chase the hand, bow thing. She tries to get him to play with her like that. It's a riot. Murphy really loves the water. Adele really wants to float in the water. Kat was playing games of how high he can jump. He seems to do this more at the end of the season vs at the beginning. Hoping we still get nice weather but I see cold this weekend? I surely hope they are wrong.

Darlah, you need some pampering, good for the soul. Sometimes, you need to recognize that you can't do everything, not physically, but mentally. I think this should be one of your "gather your tips" items. And, let it wait until the tips are there for it. You do so very much.

I must do the doors. I can't stand looking at them all scratched up from Kat when we have gals in heat. Then when done I will put up thick cardboard till heats are done to protect it. Its embarrassing to say the least the damage he has done all in the name of not getting the gal. The pain is not having doors up till I am done. I have to do it outside too as we have gals pregnant and I must have it done before gals have pups.

I also have my closet to do. I want to reorganize it so I can find everything for fall/winter as I won't have the time when pups come.

I understand for sure. Wish I could help you.

I watched the video again with my colleagues at work. What a wonderful video you should send part of it to CTV morning show, where they have a portion "what I saw on the internet today". This would be perfect. I LOVE IT. Too bad for Rusty that today is a rain day. Oh well, I will be bringing him again.

Darlah you are my idol. I have told you that before. I cannot beleive how much you do and get done. I need to do my closets too but I keep putting it off.

What a sweet photo. Cooper was still so young he didn't have his long hair yet. What a cutie :)
