Top Dog

Here is today's gallery. Everyone is having a blast but I am short in time. You see the storm we had our shrubs bent over and broke so I am cutting them down and putting the branches in bags. It's a HUGE shrub so it's taking too much time so blogs will suffer. Dogs love it as they keep jumping in the pile and making a mess. I am smiling but the 5th time of putting the pile back together, I had to try to smile. hahahaha

Don't ask me why it is always me that does this stuff.

Batten down the hatches 'cause there's another one coming.

Another storm? I am too sick for this. Waiting to crawl into bed. Should have just stayed in bed today.

They're calling for a ton of rain starting around 4am or so and through morning to early afternoon.
Good thing ... AC is fixed!

Which shrub?

Lots of rain coming to Montreal today also, up to 70 mm they say. I cut down a huge shrub yesterday, the root still in the ground, will need to use the axe to break it....yikes Coop was watching me sweat from the deck :-)

Weigela - was only supposed to grow 6 feet but it was much higher than that. It needs to start again so we got a lot out but will cut out a lot of the trunks and i will grow again next year, I suppose. I am not taking out the trunk of the plant. It's so dense that I need to thin it out. 6 bags worth of debris and not finished but its raining today. Going to yank out most of my middle bed too. Tired of not being able to take care of it.
