Like the Wind

Ever notice how fast the dogs can run? It's poetry in motion. I just love it!

The house is emptying out. Humans, canines and the likes and again it is getting quiet. Come Thursday Cooper and Spicy will be visiting. So nice! Bria - Kai's sister is back for the day tomorrow. How fun is that?

Got everyone combed out. They don't look like it now but they are knot free.

Check out the gallery.

I am exhausted. The dogs still have lots of energy in them. It's 8pm and I haven't eaten yet. geez

Fun times are coming!

It sounds like you need some tv time and a nice drink! You’re incredible Darlah, don’t you forget it. Not a day goes by that we don’t look at Zoey and think, she’s the perfect dog. She’s who she is largely due to the amount of love and affection you provided her and all the Talemaker puppies. You’re absolutely a wonderful person Darlah. I’m in aww of how much you accomplish daily. Now go get Nathan to make you a drink, make it a double, pronto ;)

Who on earth would yell at you Darlah!! You deserve nothing but admiration. Huge hug for your rough day. Go snuggle a dog.

I do need that drink but its too late. I find myself saying - I need a stiff one and never get around to it. I may tomorrow but can't have a buzz and have pups coming, can we. :-0

Seriously, someone yelled at you? How rude. You are so amazing with each and every dog. The love and attention that you show them is truly special.
Dallas is looking forward to staying with you in a few weeks. Hope you're enjoying some tv time!

I shouldn't have said anything but I felt like crying. Maybe I will put on my broken headphones and sulk. I am so trying to find the humour! Tomorrow is a new day.

By the way still doing laundry after company. Good things - Nathan got tri gal to eat solid food. Stubborn thing that she is prefers moms milk and with only 2 the milk is flowing. Who needs solids.

Sorry that you had such a tough day. I never can figure out how you do all you do in a day. Hope tomorrow is a better one and that you have healthy daytime puppies.
You deserve a break!!

Darlah, I'm feel so bad that someone yelled at you. It's something minor and the person took it out on you. I'll say black list that person, you have enough business as it is. No one deserves any forms of verbal abuse.

Darlah, I am so sorry that someone would be aggressive enough to yell at you for mistaking a bath only instead of bath and trim. It's not a mistake. It's a miscommunication. You are a kind, wonderful and giving person who is trying to be a supermom and wife while having all these puppies. I don't know how you do it!! You work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In my humble opinion I would very tactfully tell that person that you are unable to do their dog again. Walk away with your head held high. Nobody needs a bully like that in their lives. Your life is already stressful enough without those kinds of episodes. Look how upset that got you!! One less person won't break the financial bank but that same person could break your emotional bank. Remember. You are well loved and an awesome individual!!!!!

She did call me and say she did not intend it to come across this way. Its accepted and over. I should not have posted. I was just so shell shocked as I truly love the dogs and yes I am human and can overlook something. it's on me but I am always willing to make things right. I also watch the dogs VERY carefully to watch their interaction. Enough said. Again, I should not have said anything. For that i apologize profusely!

Darlah: thank you so much for the clipper advice, I like the Wahl Bravura also like the corded Wahl KM2 with the arco trimmer. They feel so light and easy to use. These are also in my budget. The Andis were a lot heavier on the wrist.

Fingers crossed Leti waits until Nathan is with you.

Thank you again, don’t know what I’d do without your wonderful website and kind advice.

Be aware that I find the cord a pain unless you have a table that you can move around. The cord always goes where I do not want but they often have more torque.

November 30, 2017 | Registered CommenterDarlah

After much deliberation I have gone for the cordless.
Looking forward to a Talemaker grade groomed Havanese.

Dog is wondering why the treats are out.

Darlah, you have nothing to apologize for. There is NEVER any reason for one human being to behave like that to another. We all have urges and we all have learned to suppress them. That's what makes us "intelligent" human beings. You did right to post such bullying behavior. That is the only way to make this type of person learn to control themselves. Take my word for it. I have lots of experience in dealing with this sort of person. You did nothing wrong. You are here to support us and we are her to support you in any way we can.

Lots of Love
Mary & Ollie
