Snow Paths and Changes
Here is today's gallery. They had fun today but I think they like it when the snow is falling down or so it seems. Still, they ran and enjoyed but I was doing grooming for others so the camera clicking mostly was done by Nathan. He doesn't click as much as me.
Oliver has departed, Tia will go tonight. We miss them!
Most of the photos are ungroomed as it was clicked while I was doing other people's dogs. I did manage to get to them but it wasn't till early this evening.
I am thinning out Cooper's coat so I do it each night sepaarate than the usual comb out and brush. He seems to enjoy that one on one extra time and of course he gets treated more and I do believe he knows he is getting more treats. He's smart.
Tomorrow Frannie comes. Hooray! Haven't seen her in a bit.
In a few weeks Adele and River will move out with the daughter. I believe they will come here when she is working during the day. They were gone for the weekend so I am starting to get conditioned.
When Adele goes into heat she will come here. River will get spayed. They will live close by and come swimming in the summer. It will be a change. Adele came back in the house after being gone for 2 days thinking she was going to boss everyone around. It was interesting.
Life is always evolving.
Be sure to check out Adele's blog for a puppy (2) update!

Happy Valentine's Day. To all Talemaker friends and our talemaker Breeders and dear friends. Our sweethearts offer us unconditional love as we love them.
OLIVER IS AMAZINGLY HANDSOME!
Katie and I have been sitting in front of the TV watching The Westminster Dog Show or the past almostv3 hours. The Havanese was a black and white and Katie actually looked more like the Coton de Tulear! Both facial lyrics and colour.
The second part is on tomorrow night.
Enjoy
Oliver is stunning! Beautiful coat and colour!
Ruth: You are distracted by colour and that's a common thing. Katie doesn't look like a Coton. Her tail and structure is different. Also hair or the lack of plays in our perception of what a dog looks like. Shave those black and whites down as well as a Coton and you will see that Katie is and looks like a Havanese.
Please realize that Westminster is not the best. It is the best of those that can afford to spend a ton of money. Those that do not have deep pockets can't do it. Those that try without deep pockets are most often overlooked. When do you ever see an owner/handler win that isn't also a professional handler. You do not. You need to be well known. Dog shows are interesting.
At the end of the day they are vying for bragging rights especially to people who do not get the politics. People flock to the winners to breed to them and even though they get top buck they can never make their money back. Often if they have a genetic issue in their background the over abundance of breeding to this dog saturates the breed with this issue. I stay away from the perceived popular dog due to this issue. There are articles about it and how we perpetuate genetic issues.
They will never make that money back as many spend in excess of 100 grand to campaign their dogs in a year. The dogs are at the shows a minimum of 3 times a week all year long.
Still, it is enjoyable to watch movement and I appreciate the effort that goes into it.
