Two Updates Special Notice

Chester and Amy have updates on their 1st birthday blog. Sorry -as I saw them I updated! So nice to see such a grand showing for a 1st birthday!

Also Amy signed up for a Tricks Class but there isn't enough people in it. Think you may want to join them? Here are the details:

From Amy's Dad: We've signed up for the Tricks are for Dogs class at the Ajax Who's Walking Who, starting on September 12--subject to confirmation.  I talked to Gillian, and she said they don't have the requisite minimum number yet.  Do you want to mention this on the blog? PS: Class is 7pm

Sorry, we won't be able to sign up for that class. We are more interested in the Total recall class in Ajax, Saturday at noon starting September 16. It fits better with our schedule in the month of September. And truly, Tenshi does have "selective" hearing when we go out for walks or in the park. We really need to learn how to train her.

Too bad! It would have been nice to see Amy and Tenshi playing together, but I understand. We picked the Tricks class because people often ask "Does your dog do any tricks?" and the standard obedience tasks of sit/stay/heel/come/drop it doesn't impress them. The Tricks are more interesting, and Gillian said they incorporate some obedience tasks as well. Amy is actually quite good at coming when called,

Bob, it's amazing that Amy has great recall! Tenshi on the other hand is just not listening when I call her back when she's too busy sniffing or playing outside. I'm sure you and Bev and Amy will enjoy the tricks class very much. It's very fun when they are able to do some tricks!
