Guess Who Dropped In
Louis (Leti pup) and Glory the apricot cutie came for a trim and bath. It was wonderful to have the both of them! Doesn't seem like Dennis took photos of Leti and Louis - now that is upsetting as I like to capture moments like this but play they did. I bet he slept on the way home.
We had wet then white stuff and I groomed all day. Ty was here too and had some real play time. It is wonderful to have him visit!
We have a puppy called Lola that joined us. She's a tiny thing and she is starting to play. She's not one of our pups. We so adore pups. She is 4 months. Sky is taking to her and so is Rocky. You will see photos of her tomorrow as she just arrived tonight.
I would like to say that I will do longer blogs but not sure that is possible at this time. We have a grooming crunch and with pups coming and a room to get ready.... I also need to wash Stormy and River before the xrays on Friday.
Soon Spicy and Cooper will be here and that will be SO SO much fun.
Here is a photo of Spicy when she was a pup. They grow up way too fast!
As we celebrate the holidays remember not everyone has the picture perfect holiday - if there is such a thing - I think not. Family lives afar at times. Some families have disputes. Some have to work. Some plain do not have money to eat forget about presents. It's not that they aren't giving souls. I can relate to all at one time or another. So, I am acutely aware. I say this as too often we do not see it. It's not that we don't care. We are just so busy that we don't pay attention. So in this holiday season, if you give a gift to someone and they can't reciprocate, or you invite someone out and they don't go but really needs to, be perceptive.
For us, we work each holiday season. It is our busiest time. But if you want to vent, if you want to have a coffee, or go out for lunch, I will make the time even if it is crazy around here. You see I get a break and I am good at listening - honest. No money? No problem. I have some tips, maybe I will get some more and we will get through this holiday season. Much love to my Talemaker family! I am who I am due to you and I thank you for that!

Oh Darlah, you are such a sweet, caring person. What a wonderful thing to say and do. Since my family passed, except for Ed of course, I have been giving to charity instead of buying the presents I did. Everything helps those less fortunate. You and Nathan have made all our days seem like holidays having our wonderful Patches and Radar with us. We love them so very much. ❤️❤️
Angela - how wonderful of you to say and to do for others. The world needs more of yous.
I know you are heading into a very busy time getting everyone's dogs ready for the holidays. I love the blogs and photos, but certainly understand it takes up a lot of your time. Post what you can, we will all be thankful. Puppy time soon and those photos are so special.
What a sweet photo of Spicy, I added this photo to my album....when the Spice girl and I visit seniors every second Monday, I love to brag about our little girl and her accomplishments. I bring my iPad and show them photos of her and her buddy Cooper. Everyone is in love with her, what’s not to love 💕 Thanks for sharing this photo.
What a wonderful sentiment, Darlah. As others have said, you are so giving of yourself and in this way, you model the best of the holiday season. We are so grateful for the joy you have given us through all of the pictures, posts, and most especially in selecting us to be the forever home for Moxie. Thank you for being truly inspirational. We feel blessed to be part of the Talemakers family.
I can vouch for Darlah being a good listener!
What you wrote actually made me cry. You are such a dear, warm-hearted person and we are all so lucky to have you in our lives.
Super Woman I say, you never cease to amaze us. Yes the holidays can be a very difficult time on many different levels. Holiday shift work for both my sister and I for many years, but we all got through, that was our duty.
Just today I brought our Leo and Pixie to visit my dad while I cleaned his house, amusement for all. We are eternally grateful to you and Nathan for caring for these 2 prior to us (them) choosing us, they are truly very happy doggies here at our home (as Leo snores just now on a pillow above my shoulder and Pixie at my feet).
You are a very special person to all of us, do take care of yourself during this busy time and much love to all the family.
Darlah I second what everyone has said. You are truly my idol. You are warm, caring and generous and that comes through with every blog and conversation we have together. How lucky to be a part of your beautiful Talemaker family. Rusty has helped me through some difficult times and I bless you and Nathan for all the love and caring you give to all the pups and all of us. I too am crying. But it is that I am greatful. And Darlah I agree with you. Not everyone has. I give to those poor people in subways and on the street. I don't care what they spend it on if it gives them a moments pleasure. How scary is that life. I especially give a fellow with his dog at the Finch subway. And dog food. He too needs his friend. The dog is so sweet and gentle He does have a coat and I hope he is well looked after. I wish all our Talemaker family a wonderful holiday full of good health and peace.
