2 Updates Today

We had a lot of running and playing today.

Bria is silly playing. It's fun to watch! Teddy arrived today. We have not seen him for a bit so I was so excited to see him. Ella is done her heat. We only have Saffron in heat now and that makes it easier. We have yet to get the family room ready.

Here is the gallery.

Tomorrow Odin, Cooper and Spicy arrive - so excited and Charlie - so excited comes for a play date.

Lola the puppy we are watching it is impossible to get a good photo of her. She moves so fast. Sky and Lola have been playing all day long. She plays with others but Sky is her main buddy.

I updated Raven and Stormy's blog with belly shots. Xrays are Friday.

Ali had a bath today. It's her least fave thing as she has to stay still on the table. She has no time for that but boy is her hair nice and silky and shiny. She was overdue for a bath. I guess she will look scruffy tomorrow just like Sky did last week. LOL

Busy week but exciting week.

Stormy does look like she is close to ready. Her punk hair cut is cute.

Raven looks so little. She has very petite features.

Yes Raven is small and petite. Will be interesting to see how many.

Bria is always up for playing. She’s not one to sit still. Glad to hear everyone is having fun and more dogs are on their way to join in the games.

You have lots of puppies coming! :-)

Darlah, did u find another Vet?

December 5, 2018 | Unregistered CommenterDebi&Laci

No, we have not. We use our local vet for xrays and can still use Northumberland for puppy checks but emergency after hours we still have to head to the place we used for Risa. Though our retired vets did say to call them if we have an issue. Our vets that retired I am still in contact with so they will be able to look at the xrays as a 2nd opinion to see if any issues are presenting themselves. If so, she can tell us who to go to during day hours if a c-section is required. they did renew their license so hopefully it is them.

It must be reassuring that your Vets are willing and able to give 2nd opinions and help you out. That's great!

At the very least, this process will help you w/ the transition of a new Vet. Never easy to find a new doctor for pets or humans.

Looking forward to seeing all the new puppies!

Reproduction vets are not the same as city vets. There are not many actually. My local vet wouldn't know what to do with a stuck puppy to be honest. I would have more knowledge. Not sure why they do not teach them but they wouldn't have the experience or the clientele to get the practice. I guess its a specialty and not many out there. There is one an hour and a half away from here in the other direction but far from the freeway. That makes me nervous in winter. Our retired vets do have their license renewed so perhaps they would help. Going to find out when I send the xrays to them.
