Mother's Day

The dogs were loving watching the back yard work. We got the trug semi planted. I still need to find cilantro. I still need strawberries. It will come - maybe tomorrow as Sherry and I are going to Markville and to Sheridan. I am looking forward to it.

Here is today's gallery.

No matter how much I comb out Harlow, she really needs a bath. LOL She goes home Tuesday and will get spruced up. Murphy, Rosie and Tchibo got a bath today. I went from grooming to transplanting. Dennis took most of the photos of the pups and the adults. When he started weeding the dogs thought he was playing a game and was trying to dig too. It was a riot - especially the schnauzers. Noah and Zoe love to sit in the shade and chill. It was warm today. Scruffy and Pepper got brushed out after breakfast and look like ragamuffins. I figure cause it is Mother's Day, that's okay. No worries, Lori I did compresses twice today. I took a break from combing mine out but visitors all got groomed.

Shlomo is a classic play monkey no matter who comes in the door. Bravo to everyone that when the 2 schnauzers came, no reaction and they are all playing together. Even the puppies were fascinated by them.

Anyone going to Woofstock this year? We are going on saturday May 26th. Hope to see you there!

The dogs really enjoyed this Mother's Day. We ate Chinese. Nathan got the trug ready for me to add soil and plants. It was a welcomed surprise and so nice! Lots of work but my day has been lighter.

The gazebo goes up Tuesday so we have to remove all items off the top deck. Now pray that it doesn't rain. I really need shade in the backyard and so do the dogs. lets hope its not a long installation.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Looking forward to tomorrow.

It was a great weather day today. You managed to get a lot done. I always seem to underestimate how long each 'garden' project will take me. lol. I guess that I am slowing down. Enjoy your trip to Sheridan tomorrow. I always find something there.

Lovely picture of Murphy! She always seems to be right by the poolside since the cover came off.

Enjoy your trip to the nursery tomorrow. I'm missing my usual 3 week vacation this May when all I do is garden. In 6 weeks, I'll have the entire summer. I want to go to Lost Horizons this weekend, but it is a lot further from Fonthill than it is from Toronto. Will see.

Thanks for taking such good care of them! We know they can be a handful. We laughed so hard at that ragamuffins comment. That's Scruffy & Pepper for you. 10 mins to groom, 10 secs for them to "fix it". LOL
