The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid is a recognized National Pet First Aid Certificate course for dog and cat professionals and pet owners. Talemaker Havanese now has that certificate having taken and passed the course.

Darlah - Thx, I checked Biopaw website and was in touch w/ Karin. She carries more variety of the Yappetizers than my current retailer, so I will be ordering from her (plus she's closer). They're the only treat Laci gets and I trust that they're good Cdn quality.

I include them in my loot bag for the pups so I knew she had them. She has had them for quite sometime. I really like Karin too!
They're not easy to find. I used to get them from a Boutique Pet Store downtown and then they moved. I googled and found one store in Ajax, but he orders them in mostly for me . . . (now he gives them to his dog though . . .) and these suppliers have crazy minimum order requirements. Then he can't sell them all and they go stale dated.
Anyway, so happy I can get them from Karin. Yes Angela, they are good quality. I like that they're Canadian and they're one ingredient. They also have more rare meats like Venison and Bison. Laci loves the Salmon.

Casey had an interesting fifth birthday. Her forever family have moved to Saskatoon so she has been busy meeting up with new friends, some of which are Havanese as well. Happy Belated Birthday to my siblings. I miss you all. I also miss my BFF, Auntie Stella!
