Very Short Blog

It was too busy to take gallery photos. Tomorrow may be the same. I stood in line at ribfest for lunch for an hour and a half. Oh my gad was that ridiculous but Christine brought a yum salad and Yvonne brought a potato salad that had miracle whip in it that I didn't know what miracle whip. Shock....

But to tie the Italian visitors over - here is a video that Dennis took of Cooper chasing Sage. Plus here is Herschel and George playing.

I got everyone combed out except Adele and River as they came later and I then had to get to Ribfest. They are with us as a friend died - one we all know - expected since he went into palliative care but didn't last long. Younger than me... sigh.

Dogs have been having a blast. It's about to rain and well I am tired but you have heard that before. I so enjoyed by visit with Yvonne and Christine. Wish it was longer.

Oh yeah and the swim was not long enough. LOL

Sounds yummy. Evan is at rib fest and he is bringing me back ribs. Can't wait.

Darlah I never really knew how you feed all the dogs. But just like humans everyone has there own dish. How very cute. I kept thinking you fed them like you did the pups. One big bowl. How silly of me.

Glad you enjoyed company. You so deserve it. Sorry about your friend. I am Hearing too much of that lately.

Well Stormy would be truly fatter than fat if we fed her that way and others would be mighty skinny. We just monitor and they eat from their own bowl and stay extra careful on visitors on different foods. Then someone goes out with them. Someone picks up bowls and someone washes the dishes. :-) It's a production but it works.

Thank you Dennis for the video of Cooper and Sage, adorable to watch, so is the video of Hershel and George. Yum, Ribfest sounds delish. Our Ribfest in Montreal is August 18, I can't wait, although after eating all this yummy Italian food, not sure if I will have room for ribs LOL! Glad you had a good visit with Christine and Yvonne.

Oh Cooper you're so Regal! How can one not love him and so gentle playing w/ Sage.

Is George the smaller of the 2 dogs playing? Is Herschel one of yours? Love his name.

Herschel is not one of ours. George is and yes George is the smaller guy.

Cooper is a fun guy. Glad I have Cooper and Spice for another week. Nothing like Spice's face baths and Cooper jumping on and splatting on your lap at tv time. First time he did that, I went oh boy - do I still have legs there. He is a bloody riot.

Thank you so much for the wonderful visit and lunch, Darlah! Always enjoy you and Nathan and was nice to see Yvonne again as well. (Sorry about the mix up with the collars at pick up - sometimes I think I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached!)

Thanks for sharing the above photo. I always wonder how it looks like feeding a gang of Javanese. If you have 20 dogs in your house, is there a first, second and third seating time?

Everyone eats at the same time. LOL

I’m catching up on the blog and I am so sorry to read of your friend. My heart is with you. I truly admire the caring and integrity you have with the dogs and the blogs through every little thing life throws your way. I know it’s just life’s way, but I see your grace and devotion, and I admire it.
