Hot Day Today

Yes we had a hot day. Soon those hot days will go but for now we appreciate each one. I am sitting outside again under the gazebo with the dogs with the netting closed otherwise we would have mosquito bites.

My garden looks like... but no one else here does it but me so till next year or till I feel better. I do not look forward to bringing in plants etc. Wanted to plant tulips but have not bought and no ability to plant so next year for that too. My back is trying to tell me it is not important.

Here is the gallery.

Sherry brought two toys that rattle and 2 blankets. The pups warmed up with them and the older dogs tried to shake the toys to make them make noise.

As I am typing Ali is trying to beg me for chips. The adults just lay on the furniture and give you those soul-filled eyes longing for a spill. heh Tonight all the dogs had their treats. No one but the pups went swimming. We have a drive to Ottawa on Sunday starting at 5am so Nathan is resting up for it. LOL

We get back hopefully before bedtime.

The daughter in North Carolina I believe is okay. Good thing the hurricane was downgraded. Still they are dealing with no electricity and flooding in the houses. I was worried. I didn't sleep much especially when she was no longer responding to me.

Dogs played crazy games with Dennis today. They had tv time with Nathan and now they have blog time with me. We all make sure we have quality time with them. Life would not be worth it withut.

Wish I had clicked more photos. I am sure I didn't get everyone but fun they had. Sometimes I wish there were 2 of me - 1 to do and one to take photos. :-0

You already do the work of two people so you would need four of you!

Glad that your daughter is safe. I agree, best to enjoy those hot summer days. Quite a few on the way still. Although very hot, I think it's been a wonderful summer weather wise. Safe drive to Ottawa tomorrow, I hope you have another nice visit, filled with stories and love.

The daughter grooms for a living. Can you believe 3 dogs were left with her and the people evacuated without their dogs? I told her to charge boarding. She tried to deliver them and they were all gone. Storm flooding not over but she is dealing.
