No Gallery Day

We have a no gallery day as we were away in Ottawa. Apologies. We are tired. Dennis was too busy to click anyone but the pups. Sorry. We will click tomorrow.

We departed at 5am and did a marathon drive in and back.

Dogs were really happy to see us. We are all very tired - Dennis included. More tomorrow!

Wow, that is a long drive back and forth in one day.
Hope all good with family.
So great Dennis is there for the pups and all the crew, so you can get away when needed.
I’m sure all the crew were happy to see you and hope all of you get a good sleep.

Happy to hear you are home. How is your back?

Back is toast today. Too long in the car. I hope to float in the pool as I have dogs to groom tomorrow. Today I play recovery.

Nathan's dad is dying. Yesterday they got most of the family together to spend time with him at our nephews home. It was the first time we were there. It is in Kilburn. So you have to take the back roads there. Not everyone could make it. Dad sat in a chair that said hurt him. We have to find a memory foam pad for him. He is 98lb literally. He is back out of the hospital. Nathan's brother drove him around the golf course Saturday. Silly stuff that they do to create memories and make him smile. He has outlived all the docs predictions of when he will die. But he is now losing weight rapidly. He looks like he is dying. His stories are fun to hear. It will be a miracle if he makes it to our oldest daughters wedding on April. But he has hope. His bones are sticking out all over his body. It was a good day and I took lots of photos on purpose and Tom's farm was wonderful to see.

Tough times for you and Nathan, and the rest of the family. Days like you had yesterday are precious and the photos you took will remain with you forever. It's wonderful that everyone is trying to create new memories. It's not easy to watch someone die slowly, I watched my mom earlier this year and it's heartbreaking. Thinking of all of you.
