Too Cold Outside

The play is fierce inside. Poor Cinnamon went out on the deck and was frozen in position. She was too cold to move. So off I went running without a coat on to pick her up and bring her inside. That was my first experience this morning of realizing it was simply too cold for the dogs. So, we have brought them out for under 3 minutes and back in or they can use the pads.

Here is the gallery.

The play was crazy inside and they appreciated not going out to freeze. Ty was visiting and he was engaged in play with Ali. Sorry no photos. By the time I grabbed the camera, they stopped. Ali is a persistent thing. She even got Oreo playing with her when he was here. She doesn't take no for an answer.

I am still doing laundry, grooming, crawling on the couch, doing puppies but nathan is doing puppies now. That couch is calling me again. My goal is to be better Tuesday night, LOL

I have to smile when I read about Cinnamon. She is just like her mother. Spicy doesn’t like the cold...I put socks on her during these cold days. She appreciates them and does her business in record time. Socks = quick outdoor time. If I don’t do socks, she will go out, do her business then stop dead in her tracks and look back at me with a look that says “pick me up please”. And I oblige...she is a princess after all 💞 Cooper is more tolerant of the cold and doesn’t like socks. Love them both so much.

Funny how they both are like that. Think Cooper has more of a hairy coat too. LOL

Darlah, wishing you feeling better soon.
Tenshi went out about 15 mins with one layer of socks and a second layer of rubber booties and her heavy Canada Pooch jacket. I go out and jog a bit with her so she warms up, then she went plowing through the snow, having a grand time. I have to remind her that it’s cold and we should go back home.

It is too cold for me but I have no choice. Rusty wants to go out but spends minutes doing his business and then back in. This morning he only got to the front porch and would not go any further. How smart are they.
