Making Progress

Still a work in progress but making headway. The pool house itself will be painted a Cape Cod Gray. The roof is metal.

Looks awesome

Thank you, Sherry. As this was built 25 plus years ago, it is amazing it lasted. The framing was excellent so nothing had to be done except the roof. Doing outside grey stain. It should look like a new pool shack. We had no choice but to do it as it had holes in the roof and critters could get in. The critters created the holes - raccoons. Now we hope to avoid them making their home inside with a metal roof. Wonder how long it will take for stain to cure in this weather?

I concur - looks great! I think you’re expecting warmer temps and sun Sunday and Monday, like us. May be your last chance before spring, I think the key is that the wood is relatively dry when you apply the stain. If you don’t think conditions will be right, wait til spring - not worth doing it if it doesn’t take.
