Let the Celebrations Begin
It's been a crazy busy day. We had 2 pups going home, a tremendous amount of grooming before the holiday.
A number are departing tomorrow and more coming. Ziggy's expression is so funny in this photo.
Tomorrow we have 2 more pups departing then we do not have any departures till the 26th.
Play is rather crazy, silly and I so love it! Bed time is fun. I don't need blankets. I have dogs.
My brother and sister-in-law dropped off their 2 dogs, Chicklet and Corey. They arrived when we had a puppy departing so we didn't get time to visit but will when they return for pickup. They came bearing egg rolls from Ottawa - yum! What did we have for Linner? (lunch - dinner) - you guessed it!
Till tomorrow and more fun busy-ness.
Tomorrow I will start adding more than 1 holiday photo as I suddenly gor a few in so be sure to scroll down on tomorrow's update!

Merry Christmas Coop and Spicy
So nice to hear about Corey, you are a special boy. Kissed to both Corey and Chicklet.
Cooper, my favorite long haired , fluffy boy. And Spicey, look at that smiling face.😘
My dear Talemaker family. It has been a very difficult time for me and the kids although my home has been full of family and friends. I have missed reading this blog but doing anything has been difficult for me. This blog warms my heart with all the beautiful dogs and the sharing of stories. Thank you so much for all the heartfelt condolences to me and my family. We are going to miss Sam forever. He was a very special man.
As you all know the two best people in the world are Darlah and Nathan. Although it was hard for us to be home without Rusty we had too many people visiting for Rusty to be at home. Darlah you gave us peace of mind. We knew Rusty was in the best place and given as much love as he needed. Elana and I cried when we saw that picture of Rusty laying on Nathan's lap. We know he was comforted by all of you. Elana had a tough week but if you believe in miracles it happened when Rusty came home. Elana came back to herself. Evan is trying to be strong for us. Rusty has been our lifeline. And we thank you everyday for giving us our beautiful Rusty and for being our dear friends.
I wish all of my Talemaker friends a Merry Christmas, Happy Channukah and Happy Holidays. May you enjoy a year of good health and peace of mind.xo
Oh Ronnie, my deepest condolences again to one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. My heart goes out to you. ❤️
I don’t know you Ronnie, but I believe Rusty & Laci are related. Our hearts go out to you at this most difficult time. I understand how Rusty would of great help to your entire family.
May your treasured memories of Sam be of comfort to you all!
Sincerely, Debi & Laci. 🤗🐾
Ronnie: There are so many aspects of grief that come out in different ways. Evan and Elana will find their coping skills. You too. You, as mom get to shoulder all of their emotions. I wish I could take some of that weight. I knew Rusty - the dog that he is would bring some comfort. Tell Evan and Elana to focus on teaching him a new trick. Tell them to go up on the internet to find something he has not done yet and get them to focus on teaching him something new. It will give them something to feel good about when they achieve the trick. Baby steps. We are here for you. If you need errands run... a lunch venting...what have you. Hugs to all...
Yes - Sam had a special light but you do too!
Thank you Deb and Angela. We are related too. We are part of the Talemaker family and have a deep bond.
Darlah, Elana always asks "How did they know (you) that Rusty was the right puppy for us?" Both you and Nathan give 200% to making sure we all have the forever puppy that is right for our family. For us it is Rusty.
Good idea about the new trick. We will try that. Rusty is watching all of us very closely these days. It will help him too.
Hugs to all and thank you for your support.
So nice to see all the shared holiday pictures.
