Muddy Times

What you can't see is the fir branches and the mud all up her tummy. She was not the only one. I just finished at 1006pm tonight.

Here is the cutie clean.

Get cold please as this mud and cleanup is exhausting. This one isn't due to go home till the 4th. I wonder how many more baths before then. LOL

Far too many dirty feet and bellies with the ground so soft.

The new laundry/doggy sink has been a blessing, yup, feet washed maybe 4x a day, x2 doggies but they know the routine, in the sink, a bit of diluted shampoo, a good rinse, 'squeeze da feet', then towel dry the feet and off to get a treat, success!
But snow would be so much more fun, need to make that snow path so they can play. I think I'll deal with the snowballs the same way as muddy feet.

I feel your pain Darlah. Just walked Tenshi with her rubber boots on and she’s still
muddy that I wash and clean her paws and her belly. I dread wet weather with temperature between 0 to 5C. I also wish that slightly colder weather will come!

The Maltese is so little that only feet was impossible. Chest, backend, dirt and twigs in back that when combed out streaked the hair with mud. Shes too close to the ground. She loves the fun outside.

Oh wow, she sure is cute! I love that picture of her with Nathan!

Oh, yes. But, this is usually the Spring look, not the winter 🙁

I find rinsing the snow off far easier than trying to brush or wipe it off. Funny, Laci just tolerates me rinsing feet & belly of dirt in warmer months, but she actually seems very thankful after being rinsed of the salt, dirt & snow. I can’t believe some people still use salt.

Still, they so love to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Good for mind & body.

That little Maltese really is cute!

Thanks so much Nathan & Darlah 🤣

Gordon: You are going to get back a highly socialized maltese. She doesn't realize she is small. She so loves our Misty but she plays with all.
