Cooling Play

Some dogs truly like to chill in the snow. Willow is one of THOSE dogs. Wait if the snow materializes how much fun she will have.

Here is the gallery.

Marco has arrived. Silliness has ensued. He is just like his sister Stormy!

Poor Nathan has puppy potentials coming and he ran out of his meds so he is not doing well. His doctor made him come in to get a renewal. We need a good pharmacy other than Shoppers that has truly gone downhill. We have been with them since oh 30 years. Nathan is loyal. They always forget to fax the doctor unless you nag them and for a fee they will give you a day of pills to get you by. Poor Nathan trudged off to the doctor and they blame Shoppers and Shoppers blames the doctor but it has happened so much that we don't care who is at fault. He has pills he is not supposed to skip and he has been without all weekend. The dogs have known something is wrong as they have been snuggling him to a point that borders ridiculous. Interesting how dogs are intuitive.

Dogs have been out to play many times. Nathan picked up steak for the moms on his way back from the doctors. He grinds up some for all the dogs. The dogs are spoiled. Kat slept all night. Nathan not so much. He will be better now.

If it snows starting tomorrow, let it be a huge one. I want to make tunnels for the dogs. But don't remind me if it is a HUGE one that I asked for it. hahahahaha

Be careful what you wish for, Darlah ... Richmond Hill is expected to get the brunt of it with 20-25 cm or more!

Many people think like you. I met them at the grocery store today. Read Facebook to see what I mean. LOL

That is unforgivable of the pharmacy. Have you thought of the pharmacy at Walmart. Elana uses it. I would leave that Shoppers. Is there another near you. We left ours a couple of years ago. Really rude and made you wait all the time. Between Sam and I we spend thousands of dollars a year and if you are on a medication routinely they are making money. Our pharmacist will give us a few days. I never heard of paying extra for them. The just take that off the amount of the full prescription. Very bad. Darlah what is happening to human decency! First the Emerg Vet and now the Pharmacy This shoppers should be ashamed. I would give them a bad review.where ever. Meanwhile I love that picture of Willow. Xo

They absolutely charge you extra. I am trying to find an independent. Nathan spends 600 a month for meds. That is not counting the tylenol 1s. We have no subsidy for prescriptions. That's over 7 grand in a year. His meds are killing me. One wonders why I don't usually go to a doctor. I think Nathan's cost is more than we can handle. Don't need me adding to it. With that amount one would think they would treat us better and they did before Loblaws bought them out. Nathan goes to Ray Zatzman on Steeles and there is an independent pharmacy there but he doesn't want to drive so far. There must be an independent here that would appreciate the money he spends. I am going to do research.

Rexall has never charged us for "loaners." Have u tried Costco pharm? Altho recently learned they're in trouble for kickbacks from drug companies Huge fine & claim didn't realise they were doing wrong.
I just found a new Dr @ Platinum clinic in Markham. I read they have special rates for Srs. Low dispensing fees & in some cases no fees @ their in house pharm. Very organized there
I've also known some people to negotiate drug dispensing fees w/ stores. Worth a try!
