No Gallery Day

It is so nice that Stone welcomes a puppy spooning with him.

Some of these photos may have been in yesterday's gallery. No time to sort it out as I am going out.

Here is the gallery.

Ajax, Red and Socks departs today. All have had baths. It is a crazy schedule that I have to do to get a day off. LOL

Dogs are playing like crazy in the kitchen.

I am looking at a pantsuit online that is available at Vaughan mills for the wedding. Can I get away with it? It's super dressy. We shall see. What it looks like online and in a store is often different. UPDATE: Pants were too long so I got a dress, and shoes and a purse. Oh boy.

All I know that after the wedding we will be close to all puppies departing that are. Weather hopefully will be better than now. So much to do but swimming is in the cards - visitors to get their dogs swimming and good company. I so need downtime to a degree. This will be the 1st summer off - whatever off is in a long time. the projects are scary but I hope to take the classes I paid for but never find the time for. Revamp my middle garden bed. This year is reduce garden so I can relax more. Catch up on shows recorded from my bursting at the seams PVR. Wonder how much I will get done? Maybe not much but the pool, visitors, dogs - YES!

Sounds like you had a good birthday outing ! I'm amazed that you found a dress, shoes and purse all in one shopping trip !

It was a successful as it got me a dress, purse and shoes for the wedding and the daughter didn't hate it. I did a lot of research online with the stores we were visiting to get an idea. One shop I tried on 8 dresses and I disliked all on me. One looked stunning on the hanger. On me, not so much. I did try on a dressy pantsuit but I would have to get the hem altered and it sat strange in the crotch so you had to hang the pant low. Its hard to explain but would have rather had pants. First store is where I found the dress I ended up with but visited many stores just in case something was liked more. Had to find the dress first before I could match the shoes and purse. So after we walked the entire mall, we went and got the dress and then walked it again for shoes, purse and a bra. Now the daughter can relax that I won't look ... well you fill in the blank. I had other things planned for my tip money. Oh well... it's done. I will wear it once and probably not again. I will wear the shoes and use the purse. Daughter says we walked 8km. Went to a couple of other stores and she sat in the van. LOL I find it hard to pay so much for something I am only going to wear once. I know how much work I had to do to buy it but at the end of the day, its about the memories and this is a special event. I wonder if one of the other kids got married I could use it again. I think I would be told off for that one. Not my idea of birthday fun but it feels great to have it done. Wedding is April 13th. Daughter did buy me dinner for a birthday present and it was great to sit down, talk and rest the feet. She is not here for the actual day as she is in Niagara.

I equate wedding shopping dress experience to bathing suit shopping. I hate that so much that I order bathing suits online. LOL But the wedding was so important that I could not order online. You never know what you get.
