So very, very sad, and much too young. Condolences to her family.

My heart hurts for her. My condolences and prayers to her family and friends. That is such a young age to be passing on. Is Meelo taken care of? Ollie and I would be willing to give him/her a home if he/she needs one. I was thinking of rescuing someone so Ollie could have a friend.

She gave Meelo back when she realized she was losing the fight. Meelo was placed soon after he was returned to us. She was incredibly sad to have to give him back. We cried and hugged about it. She was a lovely person. She also returned to us all the items she bought for Meelo and we passed it on to the new family giving Meelo comfort. The new family is sensational. I worry about dogs that get bounced from a home to us then to another home but he is a resilient dog. Perhaps meant to be to give Teva some laughs at a much needed moment in her life.

I am head of rescue and will think of you when we get a dog in.

Oh no!!!! That is so terribly sad. My heart goes out to all her family and friends. How very heartbreaking when someone is taken at such a young age!

I am so very shocked and sad to hear about Teva, I burst into tears and Meelo jumped up to comfort me. I have been squeezing and hugging him ever since. My heart goes out to her family and friends at this difficult time.

So very sad and such a young age. My heart goes out to Teva’s family. Heartwarming to hear that Meelo has such a loving family 💞

So Incredibly saddened by this news. One of her last beautiful memories was of a special talemaker puppy, Stormy along with you and Nathan should feel blessed that you were able to give her that (brief) Ray of sunshine her soul desperately needed. Somehow I feel like in my heart Meelo knows, Angela’s comment above moved me to tears. I think that there is a special unspoken bond that all of us have as human mothers to Stormys magical babies.

Darlah: I'm so glad that Meelo has found a loving home. I shed a tear at Angela's comment as well. We are all connected through Talemaker and are one big family. May her soul be at peace knowing her fur baby is loved and safe. Thank you Darlah for always being there to help our babies when they are in need. Please keep me in mind if you ever get a rescue that you think Ollie and the cat would get along with.

So very sad as others have expressed. Having read the Star article, it is obvious Teva was a wonderfully rare and special person. Just visiting with the pups at the visits and taking Meelo home must have brought her great joy. I have no words that haven’t been written. RIP Tera.

Sorry, RIP Teva!

Such sad news about Teva. What a beautiful article about her. It is uplifting. She had so much strength. How wonderful she had Meelo in her life albeit for a short time. My heart goes out to all her family and to the Talemaker clan. I know how fast we all bond. Tragic news.

So very sorry to hear about Teva. We met her and David at our first meeting with Nathan. She just loved all the fur babies. So glad she had time with Meelo. Our deepest sympathy to Teva’s family at this very sad time.

How sad to hear such a beautiful, talented, strong woman passed much to soon.
It was nice that she had some joy in having Meelo if even for a short time,.
It is a blessing that Meelo has a loving family and that Angela kept his name that was given him by Teva and David.

Very sad.
