Cuts and Play

Pablo was here overnight and is now sporting a short haircut. He was a moving target on the table. He will get used to it. LOL

Here is today's gallery.

We had visitors over from the Maritimes that wanted to see Jeannie. Paula had placed her daughter with them and it was the first time we got to see her since she had departed. Not sure she knew us or she was overwhelmed with the amount of dogs but never the less, it was wonderful to see her. We place so few with breeders as this is what occurs. We tend not to hear from them as their connection is with who placed them. It weighs heavily on my heart. I sometimes feel I have empty spots on my soul from the ones that I can't connect with. They are not just dogs. They are family.

Enough said but to see this one did my heart good! It was genuinely wonderful to meet the family that loves her so.

We headed to Helen and Suzie today with Ali. We enjoy their company so. With Milo gone, it was good to expose him to another havanese. Ali really enjoyed herself and did the round of kisses. We did too!

Tomorrow I have an insanely full day of grooming and I had one this morning so it was good to have a distraction.

Benny is visiting us. He is Kat's brother. It is delightful to have him here.

Where is that sunny weather?

Pablo is adorable. The short haircut looks beautiful. I wonder whether Rusty will look like him next week. He has been so fidgety lately. With all that's going on I know it is my fault. Tonight I did only one side tomorrow the other. I don't want him to be afraid of me.

Darlah, you are right. It is so nice to see Jeannie's daughter after 3 years. Glad that she is so loved. She is a beauty like her mother and all your 4 legs kids. What is her name?
