The Fun of Play

Ash and Grey depart today - so sad. Look at the way Grey plays. It's amazing how gentle he is.

Here is the gallery.

Dogs are loving the cooler weather. Though not cold, it isn't swimming weather.

With girls in heat, we have them outside with one of us and then the rest of the dogs go out with one of us too. Ali is almost done with hers.

Murphy gal arrived and is enjoying herself. Scruffy and Pepper arrived for the day.

Dogs are enjoying themselves.

I need to clean out my clothes closet. I am at the point that I need to bag up clothes that are 30 years old and never going to fit. LOL Never mind they are not even in style any longer. I also have clothes from my late mom that she used to leave here so she had them when she visited. So, if it stays cool and between grooming, I will attempt to make headway.

Still have grooming to do and well some games with the dogs. I like them to have some thinking games.

Not sure who is in pic #7098 but what a pretty face and hairstyle :-) Is it Misty who's on the chair with the flower stick in her mouth? Adorable! Good luck with the closet purging, love doing that stuff :-)

7098 is Harlow. Not sure without looking through the gallery again who had the flower.

I like the end result to purging clothes but not the process. It's tedious and hard to let go of things that have memories. I wish I was like you and look forward to the process. I spent almost 6 hours doing it yesterday and today I am sure I have the same amount. I am getting rid of things that no longer fit, are out of style and then there are mom's clothes. It's almost as if she died again by putting her things in bags to go. But I am doing it. I did this all yesterday with the girls upstairs with me grabbing socks, dragging this or that everywhere and making more work for me. It was funny after the fact not during and I get to do that again today. I have 9 garbage bags so far. I assume I will have another 9 when fully done.

I am also washing clothes that I am keeping that got dusty or had dog hair in hopes that those things are salvageable. At this rate, I will need winter clothes. Summer clothes, I may be fully covered so the odd thing here and there to have new items is more than enough. Winter... too many sweats that hold hair etc. Got to find clothes that dog hair doesn't stick to with this grooming. I get frustrated with having the dog hair look. I may have to invest in dog grooming clothes that repel hair and only put on my other clothes when I am done grooming but will that mean I will just live in grooming clothes? hahahaha I do groom a great deal - most times off and on all day long.
