Thirsty

Take a drink... lol. I was trying to find a stand and use it as a bird bath but the dogs have something else in mind.

Here is the gallery.

Nathan asked me if I wanted to swim at 7pm. I said I think not. I have to do a blog. <sigh>

It's been a day. We are having a tough time finding a faucet that works as a grooming sprayer. Shoot me now. Helen told me fun stories about Ali and Hugo. It was fun!

I brushed all the dogs today - visitors and my own and my arm feels like it belongs on someone else. hahahahaha

I did a fair bit of clipping so people could walk down the paths today. I also use a product to disinfect outside that is safe for pets and plants. It is so easy to use and one bottle does my whole yard, decks and pathways.  I do that every 2 weeks. Dogs tend to pee and all and urine is not what we want to smell. Even people with 2 dogs every once in awhile it's great practice. What a subject.

We had Ella's puppy Charlie here - the one with the black head. She's a tiny thing and so delicious. She played and played and played.

Brewer decided he wanted the recliner today and he was often laying on his back comfie as ever inbetween play.

Well, I am tired. Need a mindscape. May sit outside with dogs and not do anything. I need to weed the path but not today. I have fresh cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce of all types already. Since I netted my tomatoes and cukes, no nibbles. I am pleased and cheaper than another trug - which a faucet takes precedent.

Till tomorrow!

Hi Darlah
What is the product you use to disinfect outside?

When you get a chance would you share the name of the disinfectant please Darlah?

Re the faucet: I have a small washing machine hose attached to my faucet and a garden sprayer attached to the other end. Works perfectly.

I have to have a 4" deckmount. Is that what you have with the ability to screw on a hose? I can't find one any longer. No threading on any of the faucets.

Su: Yes, I saw that. I asked Ridalco and they said it won't fit and you can't take the hose off as the nozzle points out. I was not so happy. :-( I also talked to a number of other plumbing supply places. I had to get a T&S unit that was pricey. Not happy but this custom business is not the way I would go again. LOL The actual dog grooming units usually come with 8 inch that would have made choices plentiful. I will be happy to have a cabinet though and all stainless steel will look nice. Every nice ending usually comes with a struggle.

Maureen: I got it at St Jacobs Flea Market. They had all sizes and it really is stunning, imho.

Nathan said the stuff I use removes odors but is not a disinfectant so I will have to use benefect from time to time.

Get a standard faucet where the end unscrews (to clean the filter screen) and add a simple adapter (under $10 at Home Depot) to connect the hose. I used these adapters on my kitchen and bathroom faucet to attach the vacuum hose I used to clean the fish tanks I had on every floor of my house.
