The Play, Sun and Rain

Here is today's gallery.

I thought my bathing beauty was broken and I washed 2 dogs without it and then the rest with it working. Not sure what was wrong with it but Dennis played around till it started working.

What did I learn about this? You use too much product without a bathing beauty even if you put your shampoo and conditioner in an applicator bottle and distribute it in the hair. It takes way too long to rinse to get the coat as clean as I like. Although my new faucet has pressure and the ability to do a massage when you don't turn it up too high and hold it next to the skin, I still felt bathing took much longer. I know I could never go back to not having a bathing beauty. Glad it is working.

Tomorrow we have Ali, Hugo, Helen and Suzie coming over. It will be the 1st time Ali comes back to see everyone. I call this closure but it is a hard process on all.

The dogs had a ton of fun today. I spent most of my day grooming and my wrist is not happy so it is icing time again. It is not broken. It's injured and a bit of carpal tunnel. I have dematted too many dogs. This will pass.

We have an electrician coming either Monday or Tuesday as we have no power in the back. Perhaps its more of the same of the nasty chewing that went on in our wall that killed the power to the air conditioner. We shall see. What a costly year this is. This is what happens when you take the summer off. Our chewing culprits are gone.

I love my sink. I need to cover the bottom as what I have in there now is not working. But just enough space. I need to install a backsplash as I have found some dogs like to wet the wall.

Chloe and Gracie departed. Tomorrow Lola, Chester and Winston.

No swimming for me though we did get Winston in today and Lola decided to go in. Nathan took Winston in and I clicked and Lola just wanted to cool off. I hope to swim tomorrow or just lay there. I was going to do a big lunch for Helen and Suzie but I think Nathan is going to go get food. I am simply too spent.

Darlah, we have to stop wishing for stuff. 1st we wanted a new sink, we both got one, next cabinets, well I got my Uline shelf unit on casters, next you have problems with your Bathing beauty, I got one, just used it 1st time yesterday. Previously 1 of your dryers wasn't working, I got a HV dryer. Too funny! If you need to borrow any of them just ask. I know I'll need better scissors one day too.
Leo was ok with BB washing but Pixie was not, just needs time but she is beginning to like the dryer, even on her ears, it's just like her laying in front of the air vents with the air con on.
I love the 1st picture in your gallery, that attack dog look, "I gotcha"!

Dorothy: Too funny. By the way, Pixie is used to a bathing beauty. Just sing to her when she is having it on. That's what I would do. They were here frequently and I think she calmed down as I can't keep a note or I am tone deaf and she was being nice to me.

If you need to borrow scissors, straights and curves or thinning shears, let me know. I do have my faves but when my faves get dull, I always have extra that become my faves. LOL

What was your solution for the bottom of your sink?

I don't do much scissoring, just their pads and their bums, and a bit on Leo's tummy and his remaining man bits😂.Holding out on clippers, I'll let you do that if we show up for a PROPER groom.
I'm currently just using kitchen sink mats, readily available everywhere. They do move a bit, just been busy to go out and check out other solutions. Bathtub runners might work.
With the BB and Pixie, I think it's the metal noise of the sink rattling when it's on is the issue but I know with time and the singing will settle her down.
I might have better luck in the singing category, i did sing in 4 choirs when i was younger and I do sing in the car if they fuss.

Dorothy: Was it you that sent me info on the arborist? I can't find it and I really need to call him.

Nope, not me.

There is a grower in Fisherville, Ontario, http://thetropicaltree.com, that does sell them.

So cute to see the dogs following Nathan in the pool.

You are going to laugh. I am trying to find the 3rd arm. I pit it SOMEWHERE.

Nathan placed it into the garage and then to find a wall switch he threw everything on top of it. He needs to reorganize it - argh. See you at 11am.
